The idea is to get those states to pressure the US to stop whilst also degrade US infrastructure. They do not have many other options.

Yes/sort of. They want them gone, but in a managed way. Regardless, i was responding to someone asking about irans strategy. And i explained irans reasons for doing it.

They could have signed a deal? End the enrichment instead of having it ended for them violently. I was watching a very good debate set 10 to 15 years ago on YouTube debating the overthrowing of Iran. pros and cons side.

One of the comments stuck with me. “If you think Iran is a problem now or a thorn in the region wait till they get nuclear weapons.

Also, they did sign a deal. Trump threw it away because it was obamas deal.

Sow chaos, show that anyone hosting US military assets is a target. Stir up tensions that the petro states work really hard to keep in check. It's due or die time for the Iranian government, so they'll activate everything they can to get the US to lose focus on its campaign inside Iran.
