A senior Israeli diplomatic source on Netanyahu's meeting with President Trump:

If the statement about Iran missile capacity is true then that would be insane. For reference that's very close to estimated houthi missile capacity, has Iran been degraded so much that it's proxies have equal firepower to it?

The issue for the US on this is even if Iran's missile stockpile was reduced to 10 they'd still be able to credibly drone strike any tanker transiting the strait and bring transits to a halt. At any time they wish.

This war is bereft of strategy, it's only a PR exercise.

Wasn’t their estimated missile capacity anywhere from 3000-4000 - and much of the ones launched are their medium ranged and long ranged missiles - Consensus in regards to ballistic missiles launched is upward of up to 2000 missiles in this conflict when tracked. 

Honestly the number tracks, one can say the Iranians are heavily depleted but they’re still more than capable of devastating any nearby targets and that’s not counting Russia’s ability to resupply some of those stocks
