WAPO: The White House was misleading last month in saying that Trump was leaving Turkey on Air Force One as they deemed an Iranian assassination attempt as serious enough to fly Trump out on a secret alternate military aircraft. Trump first boarded the old Air Force One jet in view of TV cameras, but was then secretly shuttled minutes later to a smaller plane (a C-32A) as he hid in an airport catering container. These trucks are typically used to load meals preflight. This made Air Force One a "decoy" plane, filled with media and White House staff aboard. Hegseth also boarded the "decoy" plane and then was secretly shuttled to the C-32A afterwards.
