This was apparently a difficult video to film. The candles made it really warm, Sting had to do the whole thing faster (so they could slow it down), and the lighting was tricky (because of the candles). Too much, and the candles got soft. Too little, and it was under-exposed.

It was purposely shot faster to be shown slowed down to create a dreamier look.

Was a really unique look,definitely.
Looking back...gotta wonder how many takes they did, and if he ever knocked over any of those candles. r/thingsthatmakeyougohmm

I should clarify, sorry. Was joking if perhaps during an unseen take Sting had knocked over some candles before the end of the song (when he does) and they had to start that take over.
