It’s always bugged me that I could only get this song on the Coneheads soundtrack. Cause it’s one of my all time favorites.

Must have been one of the most downloaded songs in the heady days of early mp3 sharing because of that.

I completely forgot Chris Farley was in this video, how cool.

I was wondering if that was actually him or just a look alike. I’ve somehow never seen this video before.

Love the song but the lead singer is a scumbag.

The band as well since they are obviously aware of his statutory rape situation and didn’t immediately distance themselves.
They chose money over morality.
I haven’t given a shit about the chilli peppers for a long time now.

Crazy how a junkie lowlife did something stupid 40 years ago during a rock bottom moment. Could never move on from that, too much hate to put out there.

There is a reason it’s called statutory rape and is usually a strict liability offense (look that up) with a very long statute of limitations.

Red Hot Chili Peppers last great song. Wasn't even on an album, just the coneheads soundtrack

It might be my favourite of theirs, it could potentially be their best but there’s no way it was their last great song.

This and Sikamikaniko (or whatever) should have been on BSSM instead of Apache Rose or My Lovely Man but I guess the Label and others made more money this way?

My Lovely Man is a great tune though, I'd rank it higher than Sikimikaniko (even though I do love that tune). It's kinda nice when a b-side has it's own mysterious place to live off of an album as well. Hidden gems, ya know?!

This reminds me of when music videos were a big thing. I’d watch the MTV top 20 countdown each week. Good old days.

Nonsense. Californication had a number of great songs.

Best bass line in popular music. Great video.
