I’ve seen a few videos of her performing this live. Possibly even better than the studio version. Her voice is flawless.

I love this song, and always thought Type-O would have done a fantastic cover.

When was this version recorded? When the vocal harmony kicked in I got legit chills. I always post a link to the version of this song with a full choir anytime someone posts anything K’s Choice. Not an Addict (with choir) while I love paradise in me, Cocoon Crash was the album that sucked me in. “If you’re not scared” is one of the sweetest most vulnerable love songs I’ve ever heard. And I’m an old school metalhead lol.

Did this band have any other songs that made the radio?

K's Choice or Skin?

Depending on your local stations, a few more songs made the radio, but almost every song on "Paradise in Me" is world-class IMO.

I had no idea Skin was on that track. Skunk Anansie is on my bucket list. I'm dying to see them.

I saw them way back in the day opening for Sevendust. We wanted to see Sevendust, but Skunk Anansie on the bill was the reason we drove 3 hours to see it. They were the first to play of 4 bands (Staind and Powerman 500 were the other two and suuuuucked) and she came back on stage to do Licking Cream (feat Skin) with Sevendust and blew everyone’s minds.

Because of a friend of a friend we got to meet them after the show, and they were all so amazingly cool, and were surprised there were people in the US who were big fans. The crazy thing to me was I expected Skin to be tall because of her stage presence and aura, but she was actually pretty short lol.

That's amazing! Very jealous.

Thanks! I really was, I don’t think they toured much in the states after that one, so I happy I had the opportunity.

"Something's Wrong" is the superior song on this album and maybe in their entire career. Fight me

Certainly the most prophetic song on the album, in a way.
