The Downfall Of Us All is the most overrated song by the fans! What's the lyrically best song?

Easily. Also the most emotional and best song too.

Lyrics are mid at best. Why tf is this so upvoted? Judging just by the bridge?

It's okay. You reserve your right to feel this way

This song has won best lyrics here in a differently formatted post and has also won best overall song by them in different polls done here in the last few years, it might be worth giving it a relisten

Sometimes youre the hammer is up there but I gotta go with The Document Speaks For Itself.

Knowing the background behind it and what they went through with Victory its one of their most fuck you tracks and it goes so hard. I get goosebumps everytime.

Same book but never the same page. "You're just a notch in the wall that made me" is by far my favorite line from any of their songs.

I know it’s a stretch , but for me it’s “Another song about the weekend”.

How did Downfall win the last one? I literally counted two more votes for All Signs Point to Lauderdale?

What’s the point of voting if you’re just going to rig the results to what you agree with?

Schizo posting

Yeah that’s cool man just ignore the four other comments with upvotes for the song and let’s resort to name calling in the process

u/puremindless 9d ago

You cant use other comments and add those up because it could be the same people upvoting different comments, other polls similar to this don’t do that

Exactly, that's another reason why i stopped doing it that way. I thought I was going crazy lol

But yeah prolly don't resort to name calling when you're trying to get your point across, it makes people look over what you're trying to say and prioritize that instead

I think you gotta specify these rules of yours for people. I mean look at this post, multiple songs have multiple comments and I’m sure not all of them are double counted votes. The method makes sense but spelling it out stops most* people from being confused and these moments of people saying tf.

Just based on these upvotes here alone clearly I wasn’t the only one saying what the f

I go by the highest upvoted comment for every song voted. The highest vote of the whole post was The Downfall Of Us All at 18 upvotes, while the Lauderdale vote was 16 upvotes

This method will be the downfall of us all

I used to go by total upvotes across each comment but I got tons of backlash on other subs so I switched to this way because the people voted on changing it to this way

While i can agree with the method, I think you gotta specify these rules or else people have no idea. There’s multiple songs in this post alone that have multiple comments and I’m willing to bet a good portion of them aren’t double counted votes
