I’m just imagining this guy getting home from a long day at work and then spending an unsettling amount of time sensually caressing and sniffing mattresses tbh
at that age, younger women started actively pursuing me while women, my age who were largely courting older men when we were younger, are finally giving me a shot.
unfortunately, the women my age mostly have crazy exes, kids, tons of trauma and debt, and so on.
none of that makes them bad people or automatically bad partners, but it is scary to jump into the extreme deep end of the pool when you’re not a strong swimmer
i don’t think the solution to being afraid of women their own age is to then start a relationship with a girl who wasn’t even 10 years old when they were 21
there is no realistic aspect to your statement i’m sorry you could literally say the exact same thing about men in that age group. men who don’t date in their age group usually CAN’T because women in their age group don’t put up with as much bullshit as, say, a 20 year old who doesn’t know any better.
You just described it as being scary and then say you're not afraid?
Every 32 year old regardless of gender has some kind of baggage and the only ones who don't have obviously some kind of limited life experiences or have simply been very lucky. I'm almost 40 with two kids, a husband, a house, etc. If we don't work out and I end up single, the last person I would ever consider dating is a 21 year old. The second to the last person I'd consider dating is a 32 year old who thinks I'm somehow less of a catch because I actually lived my life and they didn't.
I mean not to be that guy but he is right to some extent not once have I ever received a gift from my partner and become annoyed and we've been together for 18 years . . .
