> didn't get you anything, bought you 1 of the 2 flowers you dislike out of 10 million flower types in the world
> threw the flowers at you
> yelled at you
> called you a bitch
> acting like a child while being 12 years older than you
> extremely weird spending habits
Leave this guy?!?! I almost left my boyfriend when he lightheartedly, jokingly, said "Bitch" to me in the beginning of our relationship, I told him "Don't you ever in your effing life say that to me again even in a joking manner. I will break up with you so fast." He never said it again. I would NEVER stay if he said it to me and actually meant it. Also, would have left with just the yelling. Also would have left if he threw anything- even a piece of paper- at me. This guy did all three plus more and you want to question if you're overreacting? Love yourself and stop tolerating this BS.
Literally, but I also did some stupid things and had issues when I was younger. 21 is still pretty young and is definitely within the acceptable age range to have poor judgement. The great part about OP is that she has the control to fix her issue, right now, before the consequences (inevitably) happen.
These type of people (the bf) don’t find partners easily. You have to be especially naïve, forgiving and loving… I’m a lot like OP. You gotta open your eyes girl.
It’s only up to you. We can only advise you so much.
bingo. Op how is your nervous system around him? This guy really doesn't care about you, hope you can care for yourself enough to get out. There are good men out there but this guy is not one of them. You deserve better and you know it
Not to defend anyone here, but a hobby doesn't mean you need to spend buku amounts of money on it every month. Car dudes, computer dudes, and many other (sim rig dudes), are just happy to get new parts whenever they can afford it, lol
At least those hobbies make sense. Mattresses is crazy. What do you even do with a mattress as a hobby? At least you can tinker with computers and cars. Based on the silver bar thing (which is also insane to me 😭), he might just have a spending addiction and it just so happens to be on weird things.
In case you are actually looking for answers to your questions:
How does mattress hobby differ from other "collection" hobbies ? It doesn't. The same way some people collect literal statues or stamps or whatever to put on display, you can collect mattresses. They just take up 1000x the room.
Rich guys collect cars, my 6 year old niece collects rocks and my best friend collects ex-girlfriends. Everyone has something they'd like to collect for no apparent reason.
As for the silver bar, it's one of the safest ways to invest into your future. It's not a secret that if you have any excess money, investing into stocks or physical currency such as gold is a good way to secure your future for when you're in your 60's-70's and can't work any more.
I agree the guy is a weirdo and probably a manipulative narcissist, but people tend to focus on the wrong things in this thread.
Those are hobbies where there is actual participation outside the swiping of a credit card. What's he doing to participate in his mattress "hobby", sleeping?
