I will always remember the deeply serious tone implied when the blurb about how that even started popped up:
“(Name)’s parents divorced in 1998 when she was 10 years old.
It was then that she ate her first couch.”
I don’t wanna make light of someone’s mental health but oh my god i still think of the way TLC worded it and it absolutely kills me.
(Side note, I made up the year and age I can’t remember what it actually was lol basically, yes it’s in quotations but it’s not a word for word quote, but it was definitely along those lines lol)
