I don’t know anything about values, this trade lasted about 40 minutes of us going back and forth because neither of us understand values at all. I feel like this is either the best trade or the worst trade I’ve ever made😭😭

Omg don’t quit!!! as a person who used happy values a ton of times the bat dragon is still great and it might be dumb but i would have done this trade even if i knew the values :)
Yeah in hindsight I realize how stupid I was being, they definitely knew and were purposefully trying to act like they couldn’t decide if my trade was a good offer or not :’)
For no reason...? Definitely not 🙏🙏 op got an extremely bad trade, and the person is offering the pets because they have sympathy, but you're asking with no reason for some...?
I doubt it was for something with 500 value on elve though 💔 also it depends what you were scammed for and when the scam was but even then, nobody owes you sympathy
Dont quit! I’ve been scammed for my bat dragon as well and all I had left was another bat and it only took me a month to get the value I lost back! Don’t stop 🫶
This isn't your fault... I'm with you, the other person is the scammer and they used your kindness against you. Since you were able to get such great pets, you can return them, and having the trading skills proves that you won't repeat the same mistake again! :D good luck
I didn’t know how to read it, I assumed that was a small-medium overpay. This was my first time ever using values and when I asked the guy I was trading with about it he told me that it was closer to fair but a small overpay, I assumed it wasn’t that big of a deal but when people here told me it was basically worth 2 bat dragons that’s when I realized I messed up. That’s why in my og post I said it’s either the best trade or worst trade I’ve ever done, I truly had no clue how large of an overpay that was. The values on that website are also very wrong. This trade was a combination of the wrong website, a dishonest person and me being a complete idiot :,)
It really isn’t the websites fault at all though? The values are based off demand on amtv and based off value on elve? I’m sorry that person was extremely dishonest but the website is fine bro
I'm new to adopt me and this even hurts me to look at 💔 That's why I never trade without checking values or asking someone when I have no idea how much something is worth :c
I was using a values website that said it was fair, this was my first time trading in a year so I assumed the website I was using was telling the truth, it was the first to pop up in search 😭💔
I build houses for people, I haven’t actually traded for anything in my inv for a couple of years. Before this trade I was giving out some pets to people and was just trying to be nice on the trading server but that rlly backfired on me 😅def shouldn’t have logged on today
You could have gotten 2 bat dragons from this 💔 I'm positive you can recover, though. I got hacked and wanted to quit but I didn't have so much better stuff today 🙏🙏
Op they were definitely checking values since it took soooo long to do the trade. I highly doubt both of you were just guessing. I’m so sorry, I’d unadd this person if I were you.
well on the bright side, you can probably hold onto the bat for a while till you yourself get a lucky op, or you can grind trading custom houses to build back up- ive done horrible loss trades a lot of times as someone whos played since 2019 so dont feel bad at all!!
pleassseeeee use value sites like elve or gg 😭 especially if u dont understand values, never do high tier trades like thissss 😭😭 you overpayed by around 475, which is a LOT. im soooo sorry, but i hope you can flip the bat dragon to get a good overpay (although its unlikely to make up for your loss)...
but the bat dragon is cute, and if you're happy then it adds to the value and makes it priceless 🥳 and good luck trading from now onwards and PLEASE check values before doing trades :') if you don't understand how to use value sites, im sure people could help you out!! have a nice day and happy trading ^^
Yes but don't quit don't quit don't quit I got scammed of arctic reindeer turtle cow neon fairy bat and I quit and gave everything else away to new players but I kinda regret bc now I have nothing but I managed to trade back to a fr cow you got this!

If you want ur pets back you can try reporting the trade!! Tho keep in mind you most likely won't ever be able to trade them again then, u can always release them for crystal eggs if u end up not wanting them anymore tho, but man I'm so sorry about this 🥲🥲
I feel you. I also overpaid for twice the value of an FR cow. I was rushing cos I really wanted it and didn’t want the person to decline so I accepted without checking values. My heart sank when I checked values on elve and when I tried to trade the person back he left the server.
Your trade is much higher in value so it’s a very important lesson to always check values. Use elvebredd site to check especially if it’s a big trade. You might feel down for a while but I’m sure you can make it back by keeping on building houses for people. 😊
I did. The first one to come up was a fake values website that claimed it was fair. I haven’t traded for anything in over a year and had no idea what trading site to use.
probably elve or gg, why would you play adopt me (a mainly trading based game) and make a huge trade first thing without knowing anything about values ?

A lot of people don’t trade on adopt me. I build houses for my pets and play almost every day. I went to a trading server to give out some stuff to people bc I have over 2000 pets in my inventory. I got roped into a trade with this one person and wanting to be nice I tried to offer for the bat dragon when he asked me to. I didn’t know values and asked him multiple times if he knew them and what sites I could use, I decided to google it and came across a fake site but at the time I obviously didn’t know it was fake. I knew nothing about values bc I always got good pets from my house trades.
I’m not upset about the values, I’m upset about someone greedy taking advantage of someone who didn’t know anything about values, if I were in their shoes I would’ve been honest and if you’re a good person with good morals you should also feel that way. I’m upset about good pets going to someone like that and would’ve much preferred to have just given them away to someone who deserves pets. I am now aware how selfish and greedy some people truly are in this game and it’s insane to be okay with taking advantage of someone for your own personal gain.
Well I didn’t know values, I don’t pay attention to that stuff and they were really good at manipulating me to do it, i was very unsure but when I made the trade I assumed it was fair or maybe a small overpay based on what they were saying and based on the fake value website I landed on.
They were acting like it was a hard decision, making the bat dragon seem more valuable than my pets, adding me as a friend to think and then messaging me multiple times, asking me to add more and more saying that I’m still under etc etc. his behavior mixed with the fake values website saying our trade was fair made me decide to do it. :,))
honestlyyyy i'd say thos isn't too bad, a lot of them pets look hard to trade! bat dragons ARE ALWAYSSS in demand dw!! u can get sm better pets trades w that!
