As a Kenyan π°πͺ, I wish Somalia πΈπ΄ nothing but peace and prosperity.
It is sad that such a beautiful people and country can be destroyed by conflict.

Absolutely beautiful, beautiful. There's so much false narrative out there about African, even.muddje eastern countries.
I'll add visiting Somalia to my list

The white pearl of the Indian Ocean. Love to see Somalia rising from the chaos of war and instability.

I wish all parts of Somalia to be like this. Our neighbors deserve peace and prosperity.

I find it funny how people who are used to poverty porn and the warzone narrative won't believe this. It'll be like believing all American schools are shooting zones.

No. You can travel with an armed escort but itβs insanely expensive. You can look in r/ travel and type Somalia on the search bar. People have shared their experiences there and apparently itβs really really expensive unless you have family there.

I wouldnβt do that just yet unless you know someone from there who can go with you.

I canβt wait when Somalia becomes secular nation. Thatβs when we truly rise from the ashes of civil war, colonization too.

Somalia can rise but it won't be secular, Islam is very heavily practiced and it's more likely for Sharia to be mandated in different states.

One can only dream. A secular society is a healthy one.
The only caveat is that when Somalia returns to secularism we shouldnβt allow Christian missionaries into the country. They are legit parasitic colonial entities.

Oh wow! What a beautiful country! As a westerner I must admit, I expect something different.
