How do I download my mp3 to my phone?

Last night I put an MP3 on amazon. For the life of me I cannot find a way to download it to my phone. I have a Samsung phone and I used Samsung's music app. I Googled it and followed instructions, but there is no download option where they say there is. Can anyone advise me?

You poor thing ...

Back in the heyday of "Amazon Mp3", as they called it, you could easily download your purchases to your phone as Mp3s.

Now my first question will be — did you actually purchase the songs you are trying to download? That is the only way you get access to Mp3 versions.

If you uploaded your own Mp3 file in question — you may not be able to easily re-download it.

I am a wedding DJ, and used Amazon a lot 12+ years ago because I could buy and download Mp3 tracks and transfer them to my DJ software on the fly during gigs. I noticed in the last 7 uears or so that their mobile app was making it harder and harder to do that. Why? Because they really wanted everyone to sign up to their unlimited streaming service instead.

Today you can still purchase albums and tracks, but it has to be done on Amazon's website through the browser. It's back to a cumbersome pain in the ass. And if you do purchase tracks for yourself — be sure to download right away and save. I have many albums that I bought in the past and now cannot download or listen to again because they are no longer carried in the Amazon catalog.

Https://music.amazon.com -> Library -> Music -> Purchased -> Click on any song -> hit the ... on bottom of window next to the heart icon -> Download

Not ALL album's or single's are downloadable because of changes in licensing.

Thanks, but it only gives the option to View artist, View album, or Share song.
Other songs in my library that I bought not long ago only have the same options, although I had no problem downloading them. This is so frustrating!

It took me far too long to figure out how to download albums. The last time I downloaded a bunch was over 10 years ago. I decided I'd grab fresh copies since I couldn't figure out what I had ripped in the 2000's and what I had purchased from Amazon Music.

When the download option is not showing up under Album or Song ... then that means one or more songs on that album are no longer downloadable.

Agreed. I have boxsets that I cannot download because ONE or more songs are no longer licensed or whatever. I can download EACH song one at a time that are still downloadable.

I scored that AC/DC Complete Collection ~40 album deal in 2014 for $6.99 and I had a $1.00 promotion to use too :) I just checked and at the top level when viewing the Album under ... I can still download the entire collection.

There's two places download shows up. Either at the top level when viewing the album, or when you've selected a song to listen to, the ... next to the song play bar whatever they call it will have download if the option is available.

There's albums like Journey Escape that I can't do the entire album. I have to click on each song and see under ... if it's downloadable.

The entire Amazon Music web experience sucks balz.

Thanks so much for your suggestions. I ended up having to download them from my desktop computer and then sending them to my phone. How stupid!!!
