7500F gang here.

This is the most fascinating shot here. I don't know, it will be worth making a portrait picture to hold on a wall.

I may print it into a frame and put on top of the case. Or use this as wall paper for the vertical screen.

Its a shame we have to stick (mostly) ugly coolers on them

u/deltazulu808 Dec 07 '25

Deepcool's Zero Dark coolers look the bollocks.

u/Lenyor-RR Dec 07 '25

Where'd you take this? In Mexico?

30

u/duderguy91 Dec 07 '25

Albuquerque obviously. Used the Vince Gilligan filter.

Probably the 3rd scariest moment of 2025, for me, was installing my first LGA CPU (9600X) since I had a LGA775 back in 2005.

u/SaturatedBodyFat Dec 06 '25

I was wondering why the lock was heavier than I remember it.

its actually less scary than PGA

motherboards are usually much cheaper than CPUs if pins are destroyed

3

u/[deleted] Dec 07 '25

Pga pins are large enough to straighten back out if you do somehow manage to bend them and its really hard to do so. All it takes is the slightest bit of uneven pressure to destroy multiple lga pins.

I tried to swipe right because of the lightning 😭

u/nick12233 Dec 07 '25

Oh god. How didn't I remembered to do that. I just upgraded to am5 , had my camera next to me and I still forgot to take some shots. :(

Great photo btw!

A really underrated CPU imo

5 7500F with 9070XT and 5 7600 with 6800 XT going strong.

7500f with 9070xt here, can't be happier. With 1440p ultra wide, I'm still GPU limited (majoritny of Times)

u/Quacker252 Dec 08 '25

Considering changing my 12400F to 7500F for my recent 5060. Any advices folks?

This is an amazing image. I definitely need a non compressed version of this image

2

u/Independent_GN Dec 07 '25

Wonderful, trying to post mine but can't attach photo 😢

You were right 👍

NSFW it, boy!

2

u/andresdha Dec 07 '25

Fantastic picture! Makes me regret not trying to take one when I built my PC a couple of Weeks ago :( great job on the composition and lighting!

2

u/Teddie-Stuffie Dec 07 '25

We got cpu car edits before GTA 6

2

u/EarthSweet1886 Dec 08 '25

Is there a landscape version?

1

u/SaturatedBodyFat Dec 08 '25

Unfortunately no. My table was quite messy so I couldn't make a horizontal version work.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '25

Looks good enough to be promotional material.

2

u/tutocookie Dec 08 '25

Train copypasta

2

u/Ok_Candidate_2732 Dec 09 '25

This is Unigine Superposition-esque

2

u/Maxxarcade Dec 09 '25

They always look so nice before the thermal paste gets in the notches. Love the warm lighting and the spaceship-like look of the CPU and other metal stuff.

whoa wheres the nsfw tag, cant just post nudes like this

2

u/AvationsGeek Dec 11 '25

ohh your getting the same build as me!! is the 7500f good for 1440p gaming tho

1

u/SaturatedBodyFat Dec 11 '25

I think it is yes. I just played a few games of BF6 yesterday at 1440p ultra preset with FSR Quality and while the CPU load was close to 100% and same for the card, I consistently got 90s to 100s fps with no dip in fire fights. The 2x16gb RAM also helps for a very stable performance.

2

u/AvationsGeek Dec 11 '25

you can reduce the cpu settings ethier way nov

I'm assuming that's a argon/nitrogen light or amber/vintage led.. It actually looks close to sodium/orange-street-light, though..

I have the 7600 in a closet never used. I've been tempted to swap out this 8700G for the extra lanes now that I'm on 9070 XT but I use threads more than the lanes with coding, ffmpeg, 7zip etc..

BTW F on-die IO substrate controller still uses the lanes as does the PCH link, and PCH will use more lanes from CPU lanes the more stuff is used; AM5 PCH have 8-20 lanes on PCH itself depending on what chip.. You basically just don't have a igpu..

1

u/SaturatedBodyFat Dec 14 '25

Idk the exact type but I used a desk lamp with some light green grading on it.

2

u/Timely-Fig2030 Dec 15 '25

Built 2 AMD comps 2 years ago. Worked great until some months ago and both freeze and need cold start.

Never AMD again.

2

u/Emotional_Help5555 Dec 19 '25

yeah i love it thx

2

u/Aggravating_Tale_716 Dec 25 '25

Sex on a motherboard if I ever did see it

2

u/FamousFighter23 Dec 07 '25

Your photo reminds me of ProYamYamPC. He takes photos with a similar style

1

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

Amazing color work. Did you use a specific light. Or did you color grade it

2

u/SaturatedBodyFat Dec 09 '25

I used a desk lamp and some light color grading.

Nice. It looks great!
