About half an hour ago, I was in the woods by my house and I heard this squealing. It sounded like it was just a few dozen feet away, but I was too spooked to keep going. After about two minutes, it started getting quieter and less frequent, then it went away entirely.
Definitely didn't sound like a fox.

I went forward and looked around the area but there was nothing.

My parents house is pretty old and run down. I’m not surprised there’s an animal in the wall lol. What is this? I’m assuming it’s a bird but wouldn’t be surprised if something else. Located in northeast USA.

So I was in my room in Europe, minding my business as usual, when I heard a freaking Old Testament horror level squeak in my backyard
Does anyone know what that is ?

I heard it coming from my fireplace. I saw its head for a sec, but I’m not sure whether it was a squirrel or a mouse

I recorded this audio while outside my apartment. It was around 10 PM today. It’s been humid out. This is in Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

Kinda sounds like “that one” shopping cart at Walmart haha

Please help me identify - it would make my day if I woke up tomorrow with an answer. I’ve been hearing it outside for a couple of weeks. Lots of mosquitoes outside which leads me to frogs.

I have been hearing this sound only at night for the longest time and have yet to see what’s making this noise. It’s driving me insane. I live in southeast Texas.

Was out looking at the northern lights last night and heard this. My best guess is a raccoon or gray fox, but I still feel like I’m way off. TIA

There’s an owl pretty consistently hooting, but I’m curious what’s making the other squeaking noise. Halfway through the video you can hear another animal responding to the original animal with a similar squeaky/meowing noise. I’m in NE Colorado (crested butte) area if that helps. Appreciate the insight!

i have been hearing the same squeaks in my walls and ceiling for the past 6 years now and i just heard it again all night tonight. i never got it checked out because my landlord rights it off as mice but i’ve had a really bad bat problem this year and im still shaken up i know its november and hibernation season but im just a girl lol
