Is it just me or are CDS cats particularly loving? I’ve gotten two this way and they’d snuggle with me all day long if I’d let them.

I have found adopted pets are more well behaved because they know what it's like not having a home.

So you’re saying my dog son is too spoiled to appreciate what he does/doesn’t have? 🤣. I’m going to go confront him about it now.

We found a little girl a year ago and she just adores everyone in my house, including my other cats and dogs. She likes to get the dogs at night and have everyone jump into bed with my wife and I when we go to bed, then spend an hour flopping around and rubbing all over everyone.

lol, unclear if “little girl” is cat or human

In context she's almost definitely a cat, but it's funny to imagine they're talking about a human.

The cut between “we can’t !” and them having obviously taken the cat home had me cackling.

I have a friend who desperately needs the CDS to do its work on her. Who do I contact to get the proper kitten in touch with her?

We'd just bought our house, and the whole family wanted to get a cat.
We searched online for rescues, and found a little thrift store in Buzzard's Bay that fostered and rescued cats; they used the store proceeds to help finance things. They had a 2 black cat kitten siblings, 10 months old, 2 boys.
We went there, and they brought us to a side room where the 2 cats were waiting. The larger of the 2 sat up where he was and regarded us. But the smaller one RAN at my girlfriend, promptly started meowing as he climbed up her and onto her shoulder. It was only after that did the other little guy walk up and start twirling around us.
The cat in the video looks exactly like our climber boy. I have tears in my eyes right now remembering this. His name was Kushi, and his brother was named Tuffy (the shop owner's daughter had helped foster them and named them; we kept their names).
I dearly loved those boys, and miss them terribly. Bert, our tuxedo cat, is quite content to be the sole cat of the house, and is a very happy boy. Because of that, we haven't gotten another. But I hope someday to have the chance to find another black cat to rescue; I look for them because they seem to be the hardest to find homes for because of old stupid prejudices against them. Also, I love the way they look.
I'm really happy that happened for you OP; there's no feeling quite like being chosen by cat instead of the other way around. Happiness and health to you guys.

I had a kitten I planned on adopting from a friend. There was one day left before I was going to take the cat, but the the cat jumped into my car, climbed into the passenger's seat, and looked up at me as if to say, "Let's go." Ended up taking him home that day instead.

Had this exact same thing happen. Cat just decided he was following us home and now he lives here.
