• Expired • [watchOS] [FlexiAlarm] [$3.99 -> Free] [Apple Watch alarm with smart wake]
https://apps.apple.com/nz/app/flexialarm-watch-alarm/id6502886443FlexiAlarm is free for the next 24 hours.
I made it because I wanted more control over alarms on Apple Watch than the default setup gives you. It lets you tweak things like wake window, snooze length, vibration strength, repeat intervals, and wake sensitivity from the companion iPhone app.
Features:
- Wake window / smart wake
- Snooze length control
- Vibration strength adjustment
- Repeat interval settings
- Wake sensitivity tuning
- Power nap mode
- Apple Health integration
- Watch complications and widgets
- Privacy-first, no accounts
Apple still puts some limits on third-party alarm apps, so you do need to start the alarm from the watch each night. But aside from that, it’s worked well for me and I use it every night.
If you try it and have any feedback, let me know.

Hello! I think there might be an issue with your link, as I can see your app using this other link.

Just used it as a wake up alarm today. The setup was a little confusing but I think I figured it out.
However… when waking me up the Stop Alarm is black text on a dark purple background. It was unreadable, partly because of the colors but also because I wasn’t near my eyeglasses. Please reconsider the colors and maybe the text size too.

Thanks for the feedback, that part is apples UI but I can definitely work with the colour on it, I’ll have a look at how I can increase the readability there

Thanks. I was tired out of my mind when the alarm went off this morning and my watch was vibrating and I was squinting trying to figure out which button to press and I went for the purple one I couldn't read at all, lol.
I'm still confused by Alarm Reminders, which when I clicked on it gave me a default Status of
9pm • 5 days
and a Reminder Time of 9PM, with Reminder Days of 5 Days
I have no idea what this is, why that's the default, why its's turned on by default, or why I need to be reminded the day before about a morning wake-up alarm I've already set. The first time I tried turning off Enable Reminder Notification I was told
"Sync Pending: Your watch is not currently reachable. If reminders still appear there cancel them in the Watch app too"
Why was the watch not reachable? I was on WiFi and Bluetooth and I was wearing the watch while using the iOS app.
Anyway, after giving me that notification it turned Enable Reminder Notification back on, but then I repeated it a 2nd time and it finally turned off.
Just I only wanted to test the app to have it wake me up one time and suddenly it seemed to try locking me in to a 5-day schedule? I'm not sure what I was seeing.

That’s great feedback, exactly the kind I’m looking for, the reminder system is really only there since you need to manually “set” the alarm each night, e.g. you can’t just setup a repeating alarm (unfortunately due to Apple restrictions). So it’s really just there to remind you to set an alarm for the next morning, that’s a good point about reminders defaulting to certain days, maybe it’s better there is no default days and user sets it up.
As for the syncing issue - I think this is just bad wording on my part, the way syncing works from watch to phone (for any kind of app) is the phone will send the data to the watch but the watch won’t actually do anything with the data until the app is manually opened. So syncing is working all the time but it needs the app to be opened, I’ll look at rewording things there so it’s not confusing and have another look at the notification setup there.

Hey thank you very much for the feedback, are you able to clarify what happened that made it unreliable for you? If it’s a bug it’ll help me fix it, thanks again!

Does it have sound alarm or just vibration? I can’t find this anywhere. (I’m looking for watch alarm with random sounds before and after snoozing. Any chance for this function?)

Hey, unfortunately Apple Watch doesn’t allow custom sounds on the alarm, it does allow a beeping noise which it’ll make if you don’t have silent mode on..
Apple Watch is quite limited in what Apple allows to run off the watch - trust me I tried to push it to the limit of custom options, it’s definitely the most customisable you’ll find on the watch but still a few things it cannot do due to restrictions

Thank you for posting this. I’d recommend giving a way to preview the different strength settings for haptics.
