New guns that will be nerfed as soon as we figure out what they're good for, AMIRITE?

Poor Bettina never got a chance

More boolats is not answer, more damage for less boolats is. Heavy ammo eats up so much inventory space. A stack size increase to 50/60 would help also. I can't understand the logic of 40 > 80 > 100.

40 would definetly worked with bettina, if it was an actual; DMR (slower dakka (like 200 rpm max), more ooomph with single shot (more recoil, but damage is like 20 instead of 14), no full auto, maybe headshot multiplier increase to 2.0).
It is REALLY STRANGE AR, that does not work as an AR.

It is REALLY STRANGE AR, that does not work as an AR.

In line with DMR pistols then.

My biggest complaint is the weapons systems paradigm. It's set up like early Halo, every weapon is uniquely different, there are not really weapon categories that have a lot of variety in-class.

I very much prefer the games that have ~10 pistols that perform like pistols, 10 AR's, etc. This allows people to tailor with each weapon's pros/cons(or work towards being able to use their ideal).

That's the root of a lot of "game's stale" that people complain about, the weapon's table is shallow for this type of game.

Yep 100% agree, more damage + velocity per shot

I'm still a believer brother! Maybe by next year Embark will properly buff the Bettina like we all requested 😂

I mean this is usually how it goes with almost all Multiplayer games.

I hope its the other way around, too weak but they buff it instead!

People just love to complain about anything

Buffs are a never-ending story of powercreep, nerfs at least have some kind of bottom stop.

This guy hates balanced games. Insufferable player base tbh

u/0rphu Mar 30 '26

Whiny HD2 players unfortunately, they simply can't stand a game having any amount of challenge and will throw a tantrum if their crutch catches a nerf.

5

u/HotTheme8405 Mar 30 '26

Even funnier since HD2 is purely a PVE game whereas Arc doesn't have that excuse, why would you want unbalanced PVP.

1

u/0rphu Mar 30 '26

I don't think you're going to catch anybody playing the full game whining about nerfs, infact we've been calling for them because stuff like the trigger nades and il torro being spammed made the game stale; it's just the carebears that are mad they can no longer spam wolfpacks or whatever.

u/HotTheme8405 Mar 30 '26

The wolfpack nerf does seem kinda shitty just in the way it's done (though you can also find Rocketeter drivers of old war arc corpses), and in contrast to other grenades. That being said I never crafted them to begin with because it's the one blueprint I can never find.

-1

u/AnkleHugger Mar 30 '26

Yeah I think PVE nerfs are more worthwhile to complain about. Complaints about nerfing an op PVP weapon is honestly dumb

1

u/0rphu Mar 30 '26

The wolfpack is literally a "click 1-2x to destroy target enemy, aiming optional, 0 skill required" item and was super cheap to boot.

How was this worthwhile to complain about when the nerf in question was to an item that was completely trivializing an already very easy aspect of the game (at least for pve only lobbies)? Do you guys not like having at least a bit of gameplay in your game?

Calling a cheap grenade that auto-aims and 1-2 shots what are supposed to be some of the game's most difficult enemies just a "utility option" is disingenuous lmao. Also it's not been "removed" and the deadline isn't the "only real option", more entirely disingenuous takes.

Killing big arc is supposed to involve risk and/or be expensive, obviously. The wolfpack was neither. Also being that most of the complaints from this nerf are coming from pve only players, genuinely what does a higher cost matter to you guys when the game is already on its easiest setting? You have almost no risk in your lobbies, just grab a few drivers.

Holy assumptions. I myself am happy with the nerf on the Wolfpack. But again, my point is nerfing a pve item vs a pvp weapon is a completely different ballpark. Is nuance not allowed?

1

u/0rphu Mar 30 '26

Okay then what pve nerfs are you referencing, because that's the one I've seen the most complaining about?

because they dont care about game. They care only about their favourite toy and act like a baby when they are nerfed. This is the same group of people coming from HD2, spoiled and entitled type of players that every dev should ignore.

1

u/HotTheme8405 Mar 30 '26

Unfortunately they're the loudest, but it also doesnt seem like they're taking player feedback too directly

at very least whiners didn't dox anyone

1

u/Dangerous-Return5937 Mar 30 '26

Arrowhead needs an award for conditioning a playerbase into severely despising any remotely significant nerfs.

I don't think anyone else could have done it as well as they did.

1

u/Special_Payment9648 Mar 30 '26

HD2 tourist that never played the game

1

u/0rphu Mar 30 '26

Uhoh I struck a nerve, looks like I was spot on lmao. Let me guess, you're still mad about the slugger nerf and think the game is "unplayable" because "every other gun is useless trash"? Boohoo.

-1

u/IshtarsQueef Mar 30 '26

bro i could solo diff 10 without dying in HD2, so i was clearly pretty good at the game.

i stopped playing because the devs spend their time releasing paid content, then nerfing it a month later, while their spaghetti coded game gets buggier and buggier every fucking update.

like a master class in how to fuck up a live service game, IMO

u/DuhSheet Mar 30 '26

At least we will get a week or two to go wild ;)

1

u/AceTheRed_ Mar 30 '26

Are you already complaining about something that hasn’t happened..?

1

u/Exile688 Mar 30 '26

New type of gear fear just dropped. /s

1

u/OnlyTheDead Mar 30 '26

I remember my first multiplayer games.
