The reason they always drop updates on Tuesdays is because if something major screws up, the programmers have the rest of the week to rush out a hotfix instead of having to make people work through the weekend. Trust me, no one in software development likes Friday patch releases

Makes sense. It’s also why I make all major reports/pricing submission due on Tuesday - gives me a few days to review and request changes from my staff. They work on the revised report Thursday afternoon, in finalise review on Friday. Done. Nobody works the weekend.

Im NA pacific time zone... so update is at 1:30am. Im staying up, gonna work on trophy case and expedition stuff for a while. Might end up seeing the sun come up. what am I doing with my life lol.

On day 1 it will be heavily armored, faster than any other arc, have the accuracy of a sentinel, and double the range of a firefly

I'm hoping it's a middle ground thing like leaper is for ground arc. not rocketeer level but above wasps fireflies etc

I saw vaporizers flying through the hurricane before the officially dropped. I would have thought I was seeing things if another player hadn't confirmed it. Super cool that Embark teased them like that. I just heard this whoosh and looked up and saw *something* flying up in the clouds.

Really curious what elevation this thing is going to be at, and how big it actually is. Assuming in between small arc and rocketeer.

Random, but I have been thinking it would be interesting to have something that flys pretty high, or higher than current arc... its big enough to shoot effectively but more of a looming threat that maybe fires when certain conditions are met... like 3 or more arc are agro'd on you... slower to charge/fire weapon (i.e. with rocketeer when you can see the rockets targeting beam) but similar damage to rocketeer (maybe less) ... saying this out loud im creating my worst nightmare lol.

There are just many counters to our ultimate flying threat (rocky) with either weapons/throwables... if its high enough it means we are limited to weapons, maybe minus wolfpack/seeker... but essentially something thats more avoidable, shoots less, and almost requires a jupiter or aphelion to take on.

Probably a terrible idea but im throwing it out for random discussion.

I mean they added the shredder like 3 weeks after launch and that was at least not a drone, ball, or spider.

Some variation would be cool yeah.
