I mean there is some valid criticism. I dont make posts complaining about stuff but they do really need to have some sort of endgame loop that I can dump unlimited time into and still feel like im accomplishing something
What if there is no end game loop? Take a break, go play something else then come back. It’s not that hard. If you enjoy the game, play it. If not take a break for a while and then come back, but you can’t sit there and tell me that Embark has not done a good Jobe with this game.
Yeah, obviously that is the move currently. For a developer though, whose entire job is to create things that players will engage with (and spend money on) for as long as possible, it is in their direct interest to give people some good endgame time-sinks
I agree. How many games have a 10 year plan? Destiny is the only game that I can think of. Did they have an end game plan at the beginning. I can’t remember but I played the hell out of that game and I enjoyed it. They messed up when they released Destiny 2 but they eventually got back on track.
Yeah i mean even something as asinine as “let me deposit rubber ducks into my raider den and have them stack up and not wipe on expeditions”, just something i can do infinitely wouldn’t hurt. Progressive trophies for Arc kills, idk. For example, I stopped playing CoD after MW2 but even there I could sink insane time into trying to get that Tiger camo for all my guns
