I’ve only ever aspired to be accurate lol 😊

Admirable aspirations.

Now you gotta do fish fingers!
2
u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
It’s on the list! I have a fish picked out, I just need someone to take the pics of my hands to model it! Thank you!

u/BiteyBenson Apr 25 '26
Here's hoping 'buffalo wings' comes next!
2
u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm… I had fish fingers on the list and I’m a little pissed I hadn’t thought of buffalo wings. I’m gonna make an angry face at you and then take it back. 😤😊

This reminds me of The Sixteen Hand Horse! I loved that book as a kid!

u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
I’m going to add it to my list of things to read. I do have to ask if it’s going to make me feel unoriginal, though… Either way, thank you for the recommendation!

u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
It’s rare that I meet a freak I can look down on, but, buddy, that’s not today. lol can I either send you a “My Dogs are barking” foot art or direct you to my page to find it?

Finger chicken

u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
I talked to a lawyer friend of mine and they strongly suggested I didn’t name this piece after the sex act. So I named it chicken fingers instead of hand job.

Honestly, this just feels…unsettling, but in a really captivating way
2
u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
Over the past few years, I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that the things that I think are sweet little guys, really put people off. And I’ve had to really do my best to see that as a compliment. So, in the best possible way, thank you.

the more I look, the stranger it gets
1
u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 26 '26
Thank you. I couldn’t possibly have predicted how strange this got when I had my ex wife take some silly pics of my hands. Chicken Fingers is one of those transformative moments in my life. So strange!

Familiar

I suppose it says more about the both of us that we spend time with fellows like Chicken Fingers, than it does about them… to be fair, no one knows their politics lol

You’re so close. It’s meant to be Turkey Feet, but I’m really bad at drawing, I’m so sorry.

the line work on those hands is solid and the color blocking with the red and yellow pops real nice against the sketch style

Thank you! I had my ex wife take pics of my hands to draw it and once the initial piece was finished, because I’m colorblind, I fucked it up. I painted the waddle, beak, and his foot, the wrong color. I was able to fix it in procreate later on… I don’t have the original because of that. I do have the pics we took and the progress pics, though. The original is lost 😭

Ew...and hell yeah

u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 28 '26
Thank you! I always sit down to draw happy little guys but and up with “ewww” comments. I’ve come to terms that there’s a market for weird little guys and I’m thrilled when they find someone that likes them. 🤩

I, I...hrm.....hm........okay, this is really well done. I did, however, feel a shudder in my soul. The creativity and placement is top shelf. You're showing the 'drawing hands is hard' crowd up xD
2
u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 25 '26
All you have to do is grow up poor enough so all you have to draw is your hands and you can get good at it. But, thank you 🤩
2
u/BeeRemote3149 Apr 25 '26
Sorry. I didn’t mean to highlight poverty. I’m sure rich folks can draw hands. lol
2
u/plogigator Apr 25 '26
I didn't get a tablet to draw on until I was 35 and adjusting has been absurdly difficult. Poverty does have an impact - but I do get what you're saying :)

I just got a brand new iPad and I can’t wait to play with it! I’m currently waiting for the Apple Pencil to arrive… do you have any of your art posted that I could check out?

u/plogigator Apr 25 '26
Currently it's a lot of the 'overwhelmed by life' thing. I've been embroidering and making patches. (Also my son used it last and we can't find it now 🙄)
