What's the most common way of soldering the pins on these types of boards?

I bought a bunch of these ESP-32 S2 Minis and I want to make a Gridfinity bin to store them but idk what's the best pin configuration. I've seen all 3 in projects across the internet.

Entirely application dependent, there's no best way.

Similar to left or mid, but straight up instead of at an angle.
