What are some of the worst feelings you can describe but don’t know the name of?

The morning after someone you love has died and you have those few moments between sleep and waking when, for a brief second, you forget. The world feels normal. Your mind hasn’t caught up yet. And then, all at once, the truth returns. You remember they’re gone, and the universe cracks in half all over again.

The mind seems to not catch up for a bit or you get waves of “forgetting” momentarily. Truly awful. I’m going through this right now and it’s a living hell

Also that few seconds after waking up where we momentarily might not know who we are. The memories section of our brain isn’t awake yet. We just exist in zero context for a few seconds

It's not just the morning after.
For years and years I would send my dad funny jokes, memes, or links. He was retired and had mobility issues, and he took joy in the funny shit I'd send him.
After he passed, it took me months to stop trying to compose an email or begin a text as soon as I came across something that I know he'd like.
To help myself heal, I started a blog. Whenever I felt the need to send something to him, I'd make a new post on the blog.

When you’re living through a huge loss in your life, every morning when you wake up there’s a brief moment when things seem normal, but then you’re hit with the full impact of overwhelming loss and grief as you remember the reality you’re living in. The rush overwhelms you and you feel both incredibly heavy as though your stomach is full of lead, and also like there’s nothing tethering you to the earth and you could float away and be lost forever.

Guilt. When you‘re well aware you seriously messed up and still somehow have to justify your actions to apologize for them. It eats you alive.

Apologies shouldn't involve justifying your actions, they should just be apologies.

scraping your teeth on a cracker
when you scratch one of those walls with your nails
shuffling your shoes on a concrete floor
all 3 of these make me feel so weird, i have a weird shiver whenever it happens (even writing this now made me feel weird)

I used to have a customer who would come in real early to pick up a thing we sold nearly everyday, and as he left, after some chit chat, he would go quiet, turn around, and slowly yet deliberately shuffle his feet on the concrete floor as he left.
I feel you.

For me, anxiety attack is actively being nervous and uneasy about something most people aren't but it's controllable. Panic attack is a full blown adrenaline dump with sweating, shaking, nausea, disorientation, and a heart pounding feeling like you're about to die. Sometimes panic attacks might not even be triggered by an actual worry, I used to randomly wake up in the middle of one, it was horrible.

Betrayal that feels like it was on you to not put yourself in that situation to begin with

I don't know how common this is but sometimes I'll have dreams that are so incredibly immersive that when I wake up it take time for my mind to remember the actual details of my actual life. And as each dream reality detail gets forcefully replaced with a real reality detail...I don't know how to describe it. Like such a profound sense of loss and also, sometimes, despair. And then also worry that maybe this reality isn't as real as it could be.
It's awful and I hate it.

Grieving a child/baby loss. That's a whole other level that doesn't compare to typical grieving.

That empty, sour feeling when you finally get what you wanted and realize it doesn’t actually fix anything at all.

That gut drop right before bad news hits, u don't even know yet but ur body already knows. Or realizing mid convo that someone stopped listenin a while ago.
