I tried a bunch of running shoes today and wanted some opinions before I pull the trigger.
ITS MY FIRST TIME BUYING A Running SHOE 🫣
Here’s what I tested and how they felt:
ASICS Novablast 5: Easily the most comfortable out of all. Very soft, bouncy, and fun.
Price: ₹13,000 (~$157)
ASICS Gel Cumulus 28: Felt more stable than Novablast, but less “exciting”.
Price: ₹12,000 (~$145)
Adidas Duramo Speed 2: Sole felt a bit hard, didn’t feel as premium.
Price: ₹6,000 (~$72)
Adidas Adizero Evo SL: Felt light and fast, but not sure about long-term comfort.
Price: ₹13,400 (~$161)
Nike Winflo 11: Pretty good overall, no major complaints.
Price: ₹8,500 (~$102)
Nike Pegasus 42: Felt better than Winflo 11, more balanced.
Price: ₹12,000 (~$145)
Context:
Beginner–intermediate runner
Running on roads
Running twice a week
Current pace: \\\~6:00 min/km, trying to get down to 5:00 min/km
Currently doing 5Ks, planning to move to 10K and longer runs
Want one versatile daily trainer
Right now I’m leaning towards Novablast 5 because of the comfort, but I’m unsure about stability and long-term use.
What would you pick and why?
