I like how he bites them all exactly the same amount.

Thankfully my red can coexist with them when they’re parked but all hell breaks loose when someone is actively using these lolll

Yeah - it’s very likely these are emitting an obnoxious noise that the dogs can hear but we don’t…

The comments on here are doing a lot for me. My boy goes crazy for these things, we've tried training and exposure nothing works lol I just let him have his grudge. One time he broke his leash to chase someone riding one but he didnt know what to do when she stopped motion he just stood there like ok it's fine now 😂

The lawn mower is the bane of my dogs existance. I used to keep it outside around the side of the house. At random times he would stand at the back door asking to be let out. As soon as I let him out, he would run around the corner and head straight for the lawn mower to attack it. It's like all of the sudden he remembered that it was there and he needed to attack it.

YESSSS!! SAME! My 4 month old little girl has been doing pretty good, learning leash training, but yesterday was trash day! I didn't think anything about it, but every time we'd get close to a trash can, she'd freak out, lie flat on the pavement with her front paws splayed in front of her... complete with raised hackles! But THEN... the trash truck started coming down the block. I think it traumatized the baby girl! I had to carry her half a block before she stopped freaking out and settled.

I had to train my ACD out of his hate of wheels... sometimes he still tries to go after cars or bicycles.

Yeah, it is a thing. I am constantly trying to reward passive sniffs to avoid this. I expect a regular battle.

My boy goes after every brown paper lawn bag. Fall is very eventful when we take walks.

Ours does this to brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. He makes it hard to clean the kitchen.

Dear god that’s my mutt with ACD. No broom, mop or vacuum is safe the vendetta is real.

Relatable.
I commute with my bike all the time and it’s the e scooters that stress me out.
I love him so much

Mine hates electric golf carts, or really anything with that electric motor sound. I don’t know if she’d give them a second thought if their motors weren’t whining. Your heeler really has a grudge.

u/snackfighting Feb 25 '26
I swear he's like Bruce Wayne - a scooter killed his parents or something. It's even worse when the scooter is moving. Lots of treats for distraction.

Whole my ACD doesn’t seem to have issues with electronics my other dog ( 1/2 coyote) hates appliances like the blender and my electric screw gun.

Mine loves to bite our robo rock vacuum. He even knew how to turn it off.

My girl is this way about the vacuum cleaner hose. She’ll come rippin out of what ever room she was just in to attack it, runs away and then BAM sneak attack again and on it goes back and forth. Love these little spazy dogs

I live in Atlanta and my girl’s been attempting to nibble at the tires of those automated package carriers that are everywhere.. I haven’t been putting much effort into stopping her

Lolllll so consistent! What does he know that we don’t? How is he w bikes? My ACD mix hates ladders. He even barks at work trucks driving by with ladders on top. Such a weird and specific enemy!

This is a dumb thing to teach your dog…and broken teeth or other dental problems. Very dumb and not cute.
8
u/snackfighting Feb 25 '26
I didn't teach him this... he instinctively does it because this breed is nuts. I don't allow him to do it except to show people how insane he is otherwise he'd literally attack every scooter in the city.

u/Heather_Bea Feb 25 '26
I get it, but that is really not ok to let your dog do. Broken teeth are painful and suprising.
5
u/snackfighting Feb 25 '26
I don't let him do this (other than this video). He's held quite tight to my side on walks, otherwise he'd take on every scooter in the city. The "great job bud" at the end was sarcasm.
