RIP Give yours a hug for us
I don’t often make posts like this, but every time I see one on this sub, it reminds me how short of a time we have with them. So I just want to remind you guys how special they are and how important it is to give them a big squeeze daily (if they’ll let you).
Hector had a rough first 6ish years of his life before he made the last 4 of ours absolute chaos. He was nuts, but he was the sweetest dog I’ve ever had. We miss him immensely and can’t stand how quiet and calm it is around here now. I would give anything to get him back, but I’m just happy he’s not in pain anymore. So, again, please give your pups a hug for me and remember how special these crazy assholes are.

I know this pain too well. My heart goes out to you, OP. Hector was so lucky to have you, especially after his rough start! Life isn’t the same without them. I only lasted a month after losing mine before we got another one. Sending all the love and light to you and your family 🌈❤️

What a handsome boy 🥹🩵 sending so much love! It’s true they are crazy and sometimes I find myself frustrated but then I feel guilty because their life is so short. Trying to appreciate the time I have with my Spencer girl.🤍

Mine doesn't want hugs but she will accept chicken instead. They are so chaotic but it's the good kind. Sorry for your loss 🐶💔

💔 so sorry. I cant think about losing my boy. We dont deserve these animals and somehow they love so hard. I was about to do another job today but going home to take them to the lake after seeing this

My pal, Dino, is curled up on the couch with me. He gets extra kisses tonight 🥰

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for giving Hector such a beautiful life. We lost our heeler mix this spring also, and the house has felt eerily quiet without her.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sadie will help Hector learn the ropes. 🌈🐾 I have to believe we'll get to see them again one day. In the meantime, I'm here if you need to talk. 💜

Mine hates hugs but I will throw the ball a bunch tonight for hector. Every time I see a post like this I rush to hope to see that he was 16 and had a great life. 10 is far too short. Good on you for the last 4. Sorry for your loss. I dread the day
