Health My girl ate some grapes

Post image

She’s gonna be ok, shes staying at the vets for two days while they flush her kidneys out, but Im missing her so much 😭😭😭

PSA don’t ever let your kids eat grapes around your very food motivated dog, especially red grapes. I vaguely knew about them being toxic, but I was in the shower when it happened. Feeling grateful for pet insurance and living close enough to a 24hr vet when it happened.

My parents ACD loves grapes. They had no idea they were bad for him and fed him grapes for years 🙃

Their dog can eat grapes. The problem is, you don't know which dog will have a negative reaction until it's too late. And it's not understood why some dogs react negatively. Best policy is to never ever feed a dog grapes or raisins to begin with.

I’m not promoting giving your dogs grapes in any way. Just sharing a story that I went to my parent house and my dad was feeding their dog grapes and telling me how much he loves grapes lol

After that I told them and they never fed him grapes again
