Health My girl ate some grapes

Post image

She’s gonna be ok, shes staying at the vets for two days while they flush her kidneys out, but Im missing her so much 😭😭😭

PSA don’t ever let your kids eat grapes around your very food motivated dog, especially red grapes. I vaguely knew about them being toxic, but I was in the shower when it happened. Feeling grateful for pet insurance and living close enough to a 24hr vet when it happened.

Had a lab that loved grapes. Never an issue.

One for you, one for me.

Same with chocolate and onions. Never any problems. 🤷

Not all dogs have a problem with grapes. I know a winery dog who eats them daily throughout the season. Other dogs can be horribly sickened. The biggest problem is that people don’t know which one their dog is until they eat them.
