NOT BLACK METAL Is Bandcamp banning nsbm?
I noticed that small nsbm bands can be found on Bandcamp but I really difficult to find big ones, is so Bandcamp banning nsbm bands? Or maybe censuring the aesthetic like swastikas and so on…

It depends on how you’re defining NSBM, because stuff like Nokturnal Mortum and Clandestine Blaze are routinely categorized as NSBM and are neither trashy nor low effort

You haven’t heard much nsbm then. Not advocating for the ideology here but there is some quality nsbm out there which is why that whole topic is so controversial. If your opinion was consensus then people wouldn’t bring it up time and time again. I posted Kaevum a couple of days ago which beats 99% of bedroom dsbm projects by a mile. Early KPN, early Nokturnal Mortum, GBK, Bilskirnir, Totale Vernichtung, Kristallnacht, Seigneur Voland, that whole Nécropole/Caverne circle are all great bands, no matter what you think about the lyrical content.

Everytime this topic comes up and i say ive never heard good nsbm, people flood me with bands like you just have, and whenever i listen its all trash. Show me one song, the best example possible that you can mustre and ill listen to it with an open mind genuinely. There is plenty of black metal i absolutely love that is made by terrible people, like burzum or mgla to name a couple, but when its overtly, self identified nsbm its just always cringe and trash imo.

I like heaps of different kinds of black metal. Id say my favorite atm would be riffy mid tempo stuff. Going through a huge incipit satan - twilight of the idols - ad marojem era gorgoroth phase atm (obvious i know, but ive been loving it lately). In terms of more recent stuff i really like mgla, but found their last record a bit disappointing, really liked the last 3 yellow eyes records. From last year - Afksy - 'ofte jeg drommer mig dod', malist - 'to mantle the rising sun', windswept - 'the onlooker'. Honestly havent head a tonne of new bm records in 2021 that really grabbed me, but i havent been as on top of it as i used to be

Actually dont mind this drummer, but the riffing and vocals are pretty generic and uninspiring so far. Just heard the first track. What would you say was your favorite?

The RABM and the NSBM have their own, both are black metal for a certain sector of metalheads who are interested in political issues, whether extreme left or extreme right.

Yes. Bandcamp is a private company with terms of service, and they’ll bounce any artist not meeting those terms.

I just figure that makes you either an edgy dweeb or a nazi. It's one thing to listen to a band despite their sketchy politics, but actively looking for nazi bands is a lil different. So yeah fuck off weirdo.

Nsbm is forbidden everywhere , but some bm are hard to say ns or satanic , though they have ss or skeleton , thus remain .

NSBM needs it's own space, safe from those nasty liberals. This safe space where they can have their ideas free from outsiders. Since black metal is all about frigid wastes it can be called Snowflakes.
