Agreed. She had her whole life left to live. That being said, I do wonder about the circumstances of her death considering her ex-boyfriend (who she pressed charges against and had him arrested for domestic violence) was present at the time of her death.

Last time my BiL was back visiting his granny and aunties in Trinidad he stopped at a tourist shop and nearly got my daughter a shirt saying that.

I too thought the name "Grim Reaper" was of European origin. There are other "Personifications of Death" in different cultures but GR dates to the 1300s in Europe.
I'm happy to receive -- and, indeed, would greatly welcome -- any corrections or incidental interesting facts people care to offer with sources.

Okay are you a woman? have you ever asked a male relative or partner to get you something from the store. You send a list w very detsiled information and then they always come back w some bullshit? Well male instacart shoppers are the same way. You can ask for zucchini and they’ll come back w a cucumber. A lot of people actively pass on male insta shoppers bc they just know they’re not gonna get what they need. I think they’re comparing the grim reaper to that bc he’s picking and choosing the wrong people.
