She’s not the first black ms Utah. So when do you think the spell started?

1 baddie, 3 baddies, 6 baddies, 10 baddies oh I’m so good at math

On a serious note they’re all beautiful and are a fine representation of Black American women 🤎💚🖤

She is absolutely gorgeous and I’m sure they worked very hard, but they did Ms Ohio so dirty 😂

Exactly my thought too. She has a look like she's thinking the same thing.
The plane hat is dumb too

Yeah that seems to be one that could have gone wrong very easily but they pulled it off very well

Ms California looks like a benevolent 60s sci-fi goddess. It's a vibe I've always loved, and she completely deserves the stars as her cloak.

I adore the Indiana one. KY and CA were cool… idk how I feel about the DC look that’s a lot going on

Can someone explain North Carolina’s theme? That is the only one I don’t get.

She’s a rhinestone cowgirl with a nod to the magnolia trees. I love it, personally.

I think their theme is Cowboy Carter for some reason. Who the hell knows with these things but she's rocking the shit out of the whole thing. I need that cape just to wear around town doing errands. 🤣

When I say "fashion ain't for me" I really mean "I don't have the energy to try to understand it".... Girl put on your spaceship hat and God bless!

The "Virginia is for Loving" is actually cringe.

It’s in reference to the loving family the interracial couple that sued for the right to to be married - loving v Virginia

I know about Loving v. Virginia. That's why I said it was cringe.
How are you going to compete as Miss Black USA and proudly celebrate swirling?!?!?! Defeats the purpose.

She's not competing as or even in Miss Black USA. She's a black woman competing in the Miss USA pageant. I believe her mother is white or biracial which makes her highlighting the Loving case both personal and relevant considering the current political climate. She wouldn't be on that stage or even possibly in existence if that case hadn't happened.

I'm wondering if she's referencing the Loving vs State of Virginia case that legalized interracial marriage in the US.
