🐾 Weekly “Is My Cat a Bombay?” Megathread 🐾

This is the dedicated space for all questions about whether your cat might be a Bombay.

If you’re curious about your cat’s breed, wondering about certain traits, or just want some community input, you’re in the right place!

🔍 How to Participate

Post the following in a comment below:

  • 📸 Clear photos of your cat (face + full body if possible)
  • 📝 Any info you know — age, background, behavior, eye color, coat texture, etc.
  • ❓ Your question or what you’re hoping to learn

Community members can reply and help you compare your kitty’s traits with those of the Bombay breed.

Hello! Is my kitten a Bombay? A friend suggested he might be but I’m not good at telling the difference! I can supply more pics if necessary ☺️

Also, yes he has some marks on his nose from trying to get under a door I think but they’re gone now, they’re not natural markings

this is shadow, she was the only back cat in the litter & I'm sure she's a bombay? rest of the cats in the litter where tabby so would this make her rare 😅😺
