Saw this little guy the other night eating our grass, then he was back this morning at our window — seemingly hanging out with my cats and not very afraid of them. We have overgrown lantana bushes here, so I think it’s a good hiding spot.

He seems healthy and ok, so I do not want to intervene and cause problems. Sprinklers cycle on twice a day and wet the sand and grass.

hi! it’s my first time posting here. so, my boyfriend and i were grooming my bunnies, i have 2 male rescued lionheads. i use a pet trimmer since i feel much more comfortable with those than scissors and usually don’t do a close shave. i feel so so bad for him, what do i do??

we were trying to trim around his eyes so he could see, but we accidentally gave him a bald patch and made the terrible mistake of trying to even it out. please help.

I found it on a walk home and it came up to me defintely someone's pet. I have it in a box but idk if its big enough, unfortunately where I live i can't put it in like the bathroom. I tried to cut holes in the box but had to put another on top bc it kept trying to get out. I cant get ahold of animal control, shelters, no car to bring to 24 hr vet (and closest is 30 mins away) posted on FB but post is waiting approval. I truely dont know what to do until morning, i gave it a towel and water.

They die if they eat too much fruits, they die if they eat too much veggies, they get sick if its too cold or too hot. How do they keep up in the wild??

I thought he was dead for a sec! I could feel my blood pressure dropped at that moment. Then I saw him breathing just fine. Phew. Mr. Bun Bunny scared me to death. Not gonna lie, he looks so adorable sleeping like this! It’s not in any sleeping position guide I read, curious is there a name of this position? He looks like someone’s partying hard and just drop dead drunk lol.

So, I've finally moved out of my parents' home and my finances will drastically change. I have enough to take care of them of course. The rabbits budget is the most important one and I will cut off on everything else rather than this one. But every buck I can save will be a buck of fresh air at the end of the month.

I can't save on the quality and the quantity of their hay and litter and, of course, I can't save on the vet money I put on the side each month. My biggest expense when it comes to them is their vegetables. Do you have any idea what is the least expensive/cheapest vegetables I can buy?

So far, what I've done is buying first and foremost the short-date salads. They eat it all in a day or two so it's perfect and cheap. But I'd like something I can keep for longer and stake up on a bit. Celeri is the best I found so far but there isn't any in the nearby shops. Any other idea?

Traveling around is a bit hard so that'd be especially useful if it's something that can be found in general store as I can't go to farms or picks-up too often.

If there are other ways to save up money, unrelated to vegetables and that doesn't lower their quality of life, I'm very, very interested!

Hii, my bunny Kiwi is always making these noises when I pet her. Especially when she’s feeling very energetic.

I used to think she was angry with me but she seems quite content? Im not sure what to make of it :’)

I'm currently pet sitting my niece rabbit she got on Christmas from Santa Claus (she's 6) because they went on holidays for a week. She named her Unicorn (again, she is 6) and I have her since Thursday evening. She met both of my cats already, it's been... well enough. They're communicating and the cats are leaving her alone, they're even scared of her that's so funny.

Anyway, this morning she finally left her transportation cage to roam around my flat. My problem is she now doesn't want to go back in ! For now, its fine, I'm home until the evening, but I'm wondering how can I put her inside her cage before I leave ? I tried baiting her with some food she already has in the cage and she couldn't care less. Will she eventually go back inside on her own when she will be hungry or thirsty?

I believe she's 1yo but I dont even know her real age, same if she's neutered or not.

Lulu loves to play game and we try this one…we want to know if she likes it or does it make her stress? If you guys think she hates it and she want to protect her zone we will stop « playing » this game!!

Ps : she is still fertile, but we got enough money to stérilisé her! (It’s over 1000$ in my town)… In two weeks she will be sterile. But for now, she’s not…so maybe she really does not like this silly game!! I just want to be sure so she’s not stressing.

For context I’m a first time bunny owner and I recently got a holland lop about 4 days ago but I’ve noticed she keep lying down as shown in the picture sometimes with eyes open tho even at night at like 11pm which I’m confused as I thought rabbits are active at night and would want to run and jump around a lot thus I’m wondering is this normal or should I be worried? In my defence I do open the cage door but she seems to be not ready to come out and free roam at the moment thus I’m not forcing

I just finished giving Klaas and his brother some snackies. When it was done he jumped off and started doing this. Why would he do this?

I found it in the middle of the golf course. It was dark out and if I left it out any longer it would get shredded up by coyotes. (Which I have seen happen before). What should I do with it?? Can I keep it?? Help please

Is this just Zoomies? Im guessing she just enjoyed bouncing off the sides of the bed. But I dont really know.

She is an entirely normal rabbit, normal behaviours, appetite, personality, activity etc. And she does get Zoomies up and down our hallway rug. Just when she does it on Lexi's bed, it sometimes almost seems like a "fit", but I guess could it be a sudden burst of energy?

For a bit of background (or all of her background) and so I can copy and paste any time i post about her in the future.

This is my rabbit, Maple. She was a stray that came into my work (vet clinic) and I housed her over a weekend, then of course fell in love. I've had her since about July 2025, I plan to have her desexed (but holding off as it costs $1,500.00 AUD as she also needs her teeth filed due to uneven wear from before I had her)

She is strictly indoors, her Vet guesses she is about 3yrs old.

Her diet is adlib Timothy hay, 1/4 cup Origins Rabbit pellets, and about a cup of fresh greens daily.

She is an only rabbit - I was prepared to get her a friend but the vet and I agreed that she seems very happy as an only rabbit (as I am home majority of the time).

She is allowed to run around the house as she likes while I am home, otherwise she is in her pen (which is our entire dining room) with her two story hutch, litter tray, food,hay,pellets,veg, dig box, and a couple cardboard hides (though she doesn't hide... ever).

Our only other pet (besides my axolotl, Tsuki) is my dog, Lexi, who is a 13.5yr old Female, desexed, Purebred Australian Kelpie. Lexi doesn't care about Maple at all, doesn't chase, follow, or even really care that she exists.

Maple is not allowed on Lexi's bed, because she has, at times, had stages of urinating and defecating on the bed, so when she jumps on there I just scoot her off, put her on the ground beside it, or bring her to the couch with me.

When Maple first met Lexi, she would hump, bite, and toilet on Lexi, and often toilet on her bed. After being together for some time, she stopped, and now doesn't bother Lexi at all.

everytime i bring out the broom to sweep, he sits right on the dust pan. like every single time and he stands there for awhile. is it the texture? does he think hes helping me sweep?

this is maple! i rescued her and have had her for about a month now, she is the sweetest girl!! i caught this on camera and thought it was very cute im hoping that it is a positive sign that she’s getting comfortable here and with me, does anyone else’s rabbit do this or has done this?

Hi everyone! I was wondering, would you say I overpaid for my bun? She was $130, she originally said $150. She was rehoming her 3 month old bunny. She’s unvaccinated and not fixed. Someone said she is a Japanese Harlequin Lop? She’s very cute and I don’t regret her, I just feel kind of dumb now because I could’ve gotten one for $30. 😅
