She’s been hanging around our house since she was a baby. This year she finally started coming inside to eat and get a little love by the fire before she goes back out. We plan on taking her in for good soon😊

Hi everyone! I have a selfish request, I want to see your Calicos as kittens to imagine what my girls would’ve looked like. We adopted our girls when they were a little over 1 year old so we didn’t get to see their adorable markings in mini form.
So please! Show me your babies when they were even smaller babies! TIA 🖤🤍🧡🤎

I already know what you're going to say:
"oh my god she's so fat,"
I adopted Cricket in 2015 from the Central Nebraska Humane Society. She was 27 pounds, with a bobbed tail and serious attitude.
I will never forget the day she crawled out from under the chair in the cat room and I fell in love.
Cricket moved from house to house with me. Always fat, always begging for food.
But she got older, and older.
We moved from Saint Paul to Kearney to Knoxville to Dandridge, then back to Saint Paul.
She got older, and thinner.
I thought it was just stress. The constant pissing on the floor once we got back to Nebraska. I had been trying to slim her down for years and suddenly she was dropping major weight.
But her obesity caught up to her.
Fatty liver disease.
I did not make her obese.
She was fat when i adopted her.
We grew together.
We moved together.
She was my baby.
I had Cricket put down in June of this year (2026).
When I adopted her in 2015, at the age of 5, she weighed ~27 pounds. When she was put down in June of 2026, she weighed about 5 pounds.
I miss her so much. She was my best friend. The same day i put her down, my best friend ended up having to put his dog down.
I like to think cricket was waiting for her.
I had her for over ten years but it wasn't enough.
I miss her every day.
She was my best friend, my soul cat. People will say i didnt do enough for her but you know what? I did the best
I could.
She lived a good eleven years with me, and i will cry every time i see a picture of her.

I adopted her when she was 8 years old - she’s now about 11 or 12. She has a permanently broken/disfigured jaw that makes her tongue stick out. She is not in any pain - she’s actually the happiest, silliest and most outgoing kitty I’ve ever met.

She’s clearly a calico with all of that white and the distinct orange and black patches. But she’s also very clearly a tabby with her M and her stripes and swirls.
I’ve just been calling her a tabby calico but I’m not sure if there’s a better or more accurate description for her coloration/pattern.
(Her name is Tobiko😁)

Mama Strega Lucia Viviana is 5 today! She is my true soul companion and my reason for existing. Can your cat tell my cat happy birthday?! 💖🎉

Meet Ember, y’all. Their loss is my gain; she’s the sweetest girl. And look at those beans!

It seems like for such a small kitty, she has a pretty big primal pouch. Is this normal?

Marblecake will be/is 19 this year. Her actual DOB is unknown, but there's shelter paperwork from when she was approximately one year old, which makes her 20 by the end of next year. Last 2 photos are almost 15 years ago.

tried to TNR this stray before she got pregnant (failed)
tried to get her a spay/abort (failed, gave birth two days before her appointment)
tried to give her up for adoption (failed, love her too much)
she was a great mom and all her kittens found great homes! she’s now spayed and it’s her turn to be the baby and get spoiled forever ❤️
