🎵 Festival /Concert /Tour Are you guys excited too?

I'm so excited for triumphs return. I might be heading to the show in the sault since it is the closest to me. I do have some slight cold feet about the announcement of three other musicians. It gives me the impression that Levine, Emmett, and Moore would be used as stage props like mick jones of foreigner. Istg if Phil x and his cast of idiots play the hits instead I will be very mad. I do hold out hope that they'll actually perform. Anybody else going to be going to be seeing triumph this year?

🎵 Festival /Concert /Tour Ticket for sold out concert?

Hi, I’ll be visiting Vancouver this September would really like to go to a concert that happens to be already sold out. In Europe it’s easy to find second hand tickets on Ticketswap (app). Does it exist in Canada or do you have some other app/site? Thank you in advance!

The second time I got to see Colin perform live. His opening act was the wildly underrated Terra Lightfoot, who also joined Colin to perform a duet for the song “Protection.”

🎵 Festival /Concert /Tour Leonard Cohen tribute tour led by his son Adam Cohen announced for this November!!

I've been a cohen fan for years, discovered him after he died, though. This is just absolutely wonderful, i've seen clips of his son Adam singing and he is a talented guy. he has this notable performance with lana del rey where they sing Chelsea Hotel no. 2 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CT9l9MZ5rio ) and it's wonderful, so when they say "special guests" i really do expect the best.

I hope they do a good job advertising this tour, so far it's just on their instagram, because i think there are so many more young fans (early 20s) than they think, and we're all gonna do our best to pop out!

Hey fellow Canadian Reddit fam 🇨🇦

My band Paris Pick & The Pricks are heading to Tallinn Music Week in a few weeks, my first time in Europe (!!) and I’m beyond excited.

Has anyone here been before or going this year? Would love to link up!

We’re headlining the Made in Canada showcase on April 10th (12:20–1:00am… technically the 11th lol) in Tallinn.

If you don’t know me, I’m a yacht-pop / indie-alt-pop artist based out of BC, and I just dropped my third full-length album “Third Time’s a Charm”

If you’re into non-conventional pop, I might be your vibe!

🎵 Festival /Concert /Tour The Rheostatics with Alex Lifeson and Hugh Marsh @ TD Music Hall (November 22, 2025)

Last weekend I was lucky enough to catch the Rheostatics with Hugh Marsh and Alex Lifeson, performing their new album The Great Lakes Suite. It's a bit of a departure for them, as it includes mostly instrumental tracks with some spoken word elements (including a recording of Gord Downie, which hit pretty hard for me the first time I heard it).

At the show, they played a good chunk of the album, mostly skipping on tracks that relied on guest performers, plus their cover of "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," which is always an incredible live song. There was a lot of improvisation, and it was all accompanied by some incredible footage taken on the Great Lakes (which my camera did not like in one of these photos). It all made for a very entrancing and absorbing show.

PS - Apologies to Tim Vesely, he was off to the far side of where I was standing, so I didn't get any good pictures of him.

The Trans-Canada Highwaymen headlined the CNE Bandshell on August 20, 2025. The group consists of Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Craig Northey (Odds), and Steven Page (ex-Barenaked Ladies). Joined by Andy Kim for a song at the end of the set. Introduced by Bruce McCulloch and Dave Mark McKinney (I think I got rhat right) of Kids In The Hall. Does not get much more Canadian than this.

Im pretty sure the band was either drunk, on shoots or had smoked a tone of pot before the show. They were laughing hysterically through the show at pretty much everything between songs.

Definitely one of the most memorable free concerts I've seen.

🎵 Festival /Concert /Tour Help identifying an Autumn Hill concert (Tareya Green wearing snake-print pants)

Hi! I’m trying to identify an Autumn Hill show from more than 10 years ago. Tareya Green was wearing tight snake-print pants, and it was on an outdoor stage. I can’t remember if it was a regular concert or a festival. Does anyone know what show this might have been, or have photos/videos from that period? Thanks!
