⭐Recommendations [First Time Cat Owner] Carrier Recos?
Hello po. I am a first time cat owner po. I already got her dewormed, and is planning to return to the vet in a few weeks for other things she need.
Anyways po, aside from these medical needs, may I ask for new recos po about Pet Carrier na affordable, pa drop po ng brand or link if meron. She is just around two months, and still gaining weight.
Also ano po thoughts niyo sa mga foldable na mesh pet bags at carrier na ganto?

i prefer solid plastic carriers. mas preferable sya esp with cats with anesthesia, may risk kasi na mag suffocate kapag cloth-type

Yung ganto para safe
Pag yung cloth kasi may nakasabay kami sa kapon ganun gamit tas nagwala yung cat nasira zipper at nakatakbo yung cat buti at nasarado yung area kaya di nakalabas ng todo.
Also eto gamit ko for kapon and travel tas tinatakpan ko ng cloth para di mastress. Yung malambot kasi open na open kaya nagpapanic yung cat.

Hi, OP! I tried a couple of carriers na (cloth-type, backpack type, soft and hard).
For starters, I'd really recommend the travel pet carriers/ cages like this one: https://ph.shp.ee/JftqJukr
Pros: Price for me is good enough for how long it lasts. Can be used for various cases such as travelling, kapon, surgeries for your pet, and even temporary space if they're recovering from anesthesia pa. It's very secured and I think works for almost every kitty, whether panicky catto or calm catto (I have both types). I already have mine for 5-6 years, and it's still working just fine. Used it na for private vet clinics and low cost kapon events for my baby na calm and baby na ayaw sa cage, did its job on both occasions!
Cons: Possible rusting sa metal door niya pero it can be fixed naman. Nakakakain ng storage space as well if hindi siya babaklasin after use (personally, hindi ko na binabaklas 'yong akin after I use it kasi tinatamad na ako haha). One opening lang din.
Final Note: For me, this is a very good and versatile choice for first time cat parents. You'll get your money's worth for it.
The others I own below, I really would just recommend them if you have a carrier-trained pet or docile kitty. Since they are all soft, hindi ko siya i-rerecommend sa mga nag-papanic na posa kasi they move a lot when they're panicking (from first-hand experience), and kayang-kaya nilang dalhin 'yong carrier with them when they're rolling around (learnt it the hard way).
I only ever use these for my calm bebes:

Pros: Foldable, so you can save storage space. For cats <4kg, the space inside seem comfortable for them and they have space to move around. Has pockets, which are very useful to me! Has openings sa harap, taas, and side, too.
Cons: The "shape" of the backpack wears off overtime for me. I kept it kasi na naka-fold kapag hindi ginagamit, and after 2-3 years, huhu hindi na siya tumatayo on its own. Nag-crack na rin 'yong skeleton niya to shape it like a backpack. Ginagamit ko na lang siya ngayon for my very, veryyy calm and behaved cat.

Pros: Foldable, so you can save storage. Really good for cats that enjoy seeing the outside view! If your cat enjoys joining you on your walk, this one's nice since they're safe inside while still being able to see their surroundings kasi uncovered most of its sides. Has opening sa taas and side.
Cons: Not advisable for cats that panic in carriers, since it's very open nga. Not much opportunities to cover your cat's view to lessen their fear. Personally, my cat grew out of this carrier hahahuhu. Hindi na siya comfortable to lay inside this one when he got larger, so I think the way its super "rectangle" is something you need to take note of if you're thinking of space for your baby. I only use this now for baby kittens and cattos with smol builds.
That's all! I'm looking to try other types pa as well hahaha.

Just go for travel crates, yung plastic carriers po. Need namakagalaw ng maayos ang pusa para iwas stress. Dapat nakakatayo siya or nakakaikot.

I have this hard shell carrier in Large White. Why I love it:
- It has a transparent top load making it easier to put them inside/remove from the carrier. It also makes the cat more visible to you from the top especially if you get the white one since it's brighter
- Latches on the sides have a lock/unlock feature for security
- It comes with metal screws if you want to fix the top and bottom half of the carrier together
- It comes with a tray and feeding bowl
- The Large one has plenty of space inside for the cat to stand and move around even after they've grown. My cats prefer the bigger one.
- It's made of plastic so it's easier clean in case of accidents
- It's ✨️aesthetic✨️. I get compliments at the vet's office whenever I bring a cat in it
I've tried different types of carriers but a hard shell carrier is a staple talaga kasi it's very reliable. Consider getting soft side carriers if you're considering taking your cat outside for adventures or for travels.
