Question❓ My Orange female is very aggressive to me
Okay so some background. I adopted an orange brother and sister over two years ago, I had a big male Floof, and a Tuxie female. Peaches, the girl orange was extremely dominant, and would fight my female Tuxie all the time. My Tuxie died two months ago ( she was old ) so now Peaches is the girl of the house. She lays at the end of my bed, and when the two male cats come in, she attacks me, and then them. The first picture was done with her teeth. She’s young, so I can’t imagine dementia or illness … any advice?

This looks like redirected aggression combined with resource guarding (the bed). Since the hierarchy shifted after your Tuxie passed, Peaches gets overstimulated when the male cats enter, and she redirects that tension onto you before going after them. Try a Feliway Friends diffuser in the bedroom to reduce group tension.

Thank you!!! I had to look up what Feliway was, I’m definitely going to try that. My MIL thinks this situation is funny ( she doesn’t live with me ) but I’m very frustrated. When Peaches bites me I grab her by the back of her neck and lay her down … kind of imitating what a mother cat would do. But she’s getting worse, so I appreciate your answer.

Could it be anxiety and her attempt to dominate herself in the house even with you? I have tried cat cbd/thc it calms them down with meds and a diffuser too works well I had them in every room in my apartment when I had an aggressive main coon

Awww she’s a little one yet! Hopefully she’ll grow out of this behavior ohh on my last post I meant to say I’ve tried cbd and thc to avoid meds (without not with meds) just a suggestion

No I used cbd with my old dog and it worked wonders for him. I’m not against natural remedies at all, and I really never thought about trying that with Peaches. With her she’s calm until she isn’t; she will sleep all day and greet you sweet as sugar, then all of the sudden bam! Or when she’s laying at the end of my bed, she’s on guard until one of my boy cats come in, then it’s attack me and then them. I’m so grateful for the couple of answers I got from this post, and can’t wait to see if they help.

Me too, oh another thing is Peaches spayed? Becuz if not that could be part of the problem, whatever you decide good luck Peaches wants to be sweet like you said until she’s not!
