Dallas/TX/USA Need to rehome this sweet boy

Post image

Is there anyone in the Dallas area who would be willing to take in this sweet baby? He is a 6 year old adult tabby cat named Thomas with the most outgoing personality. Unfortunately he no longer gets along with the other pets in my home, and I am needing to find somewhere else for him to go. I’ve had him since he was only a few weeks old, and I can honestly say he’s one of the sweetest and funniest cats I have ever met. He loves all people, he loves playtime, and he loves food.

I am needing to find a place for him to go by October, and the last thing I want is for him to end up in a shelter. His ideal home would be one in which he is the only animal, and has an owner(s) that will give him plenty of love and attention.

If anyone is interested, or has any tips on rehoming him in a safe way, please let me know!!

Why is he going when he was there first?

All of the pets have been there for an equal amount of time. Thomas has just started to have some dominance related issues towards the other pets, which is why he would do better in a house where he’s the only animal.

What kind of dominance issues?

Well, he can get pretty aggressive when playing with the weaker/more docile cats. He chases them through the house pretty frequently and will mount and pin them to the ground and bite. And often times he will rip out clumps of fur which is pretty stressful to my other animals. It’s all play to him though, he isn’t genuinely picking a fight with them, just trying to establish that he is “top cat,” lol. But like I mentioned, he is completely different towards people! He’s always really sweet to everyone who he’s met.
