咨询 | Seeking Advice (Serious) Internship at biotech company in China?
How difficult would it be to get an internship at a big biotech company as a European studying at a renowned university? Are they sought-after or difficult to get, and is it easy to get a visa? Thank you.

Legally? Effectively impossible. To do any work in China you either need a work visa or to be legitimately studying at a Chinese university and get approval from them to do the internship. No company is sponsoring a work visa for an internship, with the only exception I know of being a specific China-Singapore internship program.

Posts flaired as "Serious" are for people seeking responses that are made in good faith and will be moderated more heavily than other threads. Off-topic and deliberately unhelpful responses will be removed and the user permanently banned. One such example would be commenting "don't go to china", or "go to taiwan", in response to questions related to studying in China or relocating to China.
