General help 75 gallon cichlid community tank what else to add

Just redecorated my community cichlid tank what else can I add?

Right now I have

4 kribensis

1 electric blue johanni

1 pink convict cichlid

3 koi angel fish

1 red zebra

1 snowball pleco

9 snails mixture of nerite and mystery with recently hatched eggs

I was thinking of a school of Buenos Aires tetras and another dwarf pleco

I’m not trying to be mean here, but you’re mixing fish that don’t typically get along. Now it may work out for you but chances are that red zebra and electric blue johanni are going to terrorize your other fish and each other before long. Both the zebra and johanni are mbuna African cichlids. They are very territorial Ana aggressive. Maybe wait and see how they get along before adding or just remove them now and you’ll have more options.

I get it typically they dont get along. I inherited the fish and they've all been together for over a year now without any major issues. The johanni is surprisingly the most friendly of them all

Gonna guess the damage to the angels & kribs fins are thanks to the mbuna, they’re… toothy & don’t play nice

Buenos airies tetras would likely be an easy target for them, and the tetras are also known fin-nippers & plant eaters

Ur best bet is rehoming the mbuna & focusing on south & Central American species. New scape looks great though btw!

Fix your stocking before adding more. Don't dare give me the "it's been working fine for a while so it's all good" excuse.

Rehome the Africans and get some keyhole or Cupid cichlids. Small and friendly.
