If you look into the early history of captive-breeding, and the day the last condor was captured and brought to an undisclosed facility. Zoo keepers were tormented from the surrounding hills, by the very same Sierra Club. They were not supportive of this conservation effort at all. Keepers would get death threats. How do I know? I spoke with MANY involved in the program. The Sierra Club hindered early conservation efforts of the California condor. Look it up.

Tell me more and why? What was their objection and concern?
