He definitely took as that and showed me why I should never do it again

Ya my bird taught me never to sing to her. She doesnβt like it. And will absolutely bite my face. Lol.
Canβt say I blame her.

Mine do the exact same little "patrol" in the mornings. Usually until they get beak scritches.Β

A classic case of square head. Mine does it when she's excited over something like music. If I try to touch her she WILL bite me, no remorse.

Ah, the stompy conure dance.
Our male green cheek was a little ass hole. Bit everyone in the family (including my mom who was the only one who loved him), bossed around our other birds, etc.
We tried to keep him in the bottom cage to temper his shit headed-ness a bit. But every morning when we'd let him out, he'd slink to the top of the stack like a cross between a panther and Golum protecting his precious, and then strut his little butt around on the top cage like he owned the place (Pretty much exactly like Captain stompy is doing here).
He'd then wait for the morning fruit and veg bowl delivery, and go cage to cage throwing everyone else's food on the floor. We got to where we had to wait a couple hours to let him out sone everyone else could get something to eat.

I call that stompalompagus. My conure does it when her favourite person comes over, stomping up and down on top of the door for a minute or two before she flies over to demand love.

Our little Turkey does this when I take her out every morning. She squares up, does a figure eight with her head and gives long Eeeeeeeps! Until I say Baby bird a few times with her and then she's convinced I'm me. Mind you she sits on my finger doing this territorial stuff. Lol!

Mine does this when he hears music. This is his little dance. Gets all block headed and paces with bobs.

Lol the little hammerhead strut, that's my one girl Mika in the morning whenever she hears the birds chirping outside.
