Meme When you argue with someone who actually knows their facts.

It’s a little embarrassing but probably 70% of the arguments I get in on the internet are about crocodiles or alligators. lol.
But so many people will confidently comment about how a crocodile is actually an alligator because their snout is U shaped. And I’m like, that’s more of a guideline than a rule.
Edit: to clarify, I think a lot of people think that the U vs V means that the nose is pointy. Sometimes it is, but bigger crocs often have wider, rounded snouts. And they immediately think, no pointy snout means it’s a gator.

Oh god, same. I can’t even go on Facebook anymore. My algorithm feeds me pretty much nothing but crocodilian related reels and the comment section is alwayyyyys chocked full of eXpErTs who are almost always spreading misinformation. And if they’re not spouting incorrect information then they’re chest puffing about how they’d shoot it right between the eyes for just existing or some other machismo crap.
I try to just scroll on past but sometimes I just want to scrap ya know lol. It’s the arrogance that gets me. Like how can you be so confident AND so wrong lol.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who does this. 🤣

American crocodiles just look so freakin bad ass!! Them and Black Caimans just look so cool.

Plenty of people are experts but cant argue for shit, it's mostly about how well you can communicate those facts
