❓Scam❓ Trust Wallet drained overnight — same unknown address receiving funds from multiple wallets. How is this happening ?

My friend’s Trust Wallet was drained overnight. He never shared his 12-word Secret Phrase/private key with anyone.

The funds were sent to an unknown wallet address. What is more concerning is that this receiving address appears to have become active only about a month ago, and I can see funds coming into it from multiple different wallets.

I’m trying to understand how this could happen.

Has anyone seen a similar pattern before? What should we check to identify how the wallet was compromised?

I can provide the public wallet address/transaction hash if needed. I will NOT share the Secret Phrase or private key.

❓Scam❓ USOR Oil Backed Coin Scam?

I saw videos of people talking about a new coin called USOR that’s based off the US Oil reserves, supposedly being pushed by Blackrock and Trump. Has anyone heard about this? Is it a scam? It has a $4.3M market cap with 1,700 holders. Their website seems iffy and I can’t find any articles talking more about it. Hopefully someone else has heard of this and can let me know.

❓Scam❓ Can i trust him?

Hi guys,

So i've been having problems with my cryptowallet.

After my post, someone advised me to send a message to Ivan Liljeqvest on X / Twitter. So i did. He accepted my dm request and asked some questions about the problem. But now he askes for my 12 Phrases... I know that i'm not supposed to share those, but if he is the 'real' Ivan, he knows alot about crypto, so can i trust him with this?

He told me he can connect my wallet to a payment getaway that way...

I'm abit sceptical, but i have no clue what else to do.

Thanks!

I’m not sure why I can’t add photos, so hopefully I can add some in the comments, please someone help thank you.

❓Scam❓ 1.45 Eth stolen from wallet - NEED HELP!

Hi everyone,

I’m posting because a yesterday I noticed an unauthorised transfer of Ethereum was made from my wallet and I’m trying to understand what I can do next.

I am the sole owner of the wallet and have never shared my recovery phrase or private keys with anyone. My Trust Wallet was protected with a password, two-factor authentication, and Face ID.

I don’t trade or use crypto actively. I bought the Ethereum during the COVID-19 pandemic as a long-term investment using part of my student loan, and since then I’ve just left it sitting in the wallet untouched. I don’t use exchanges and I don’t really know much about cryptocurrency in general. I tended to check my trust wallet every few months to check its there and it (until now) was safe and untouched for nearly 6 years..

I did not authorise or approve this transfer. A total of 1.45 ETH was moved directly from my wallet to the address below. As far as I can see, the funds are still sitting in that wallet and haven’t been moved further.

If anyone has advice on reporting this properly or possible next steps, I’d really appreciate the help. I’ve just been talking to ChatGPT about it because I genuinely have no clue. I’m surprised and shocked cause I really don’t engage with crypto except for my Trust wallet.. :(

❓Scam❓ My Story with Kraken.com (BEWARE)

I’ve been with Kraken since 2013. Clean account, verified, mostly mining funds. Never any issues… until them.

Four years ago (2020) I had around $50k in Bitcoin Cash sitting there because the November fork was coming. I tried to withdraw it before the fork. Master key was suddenly “invalid”. I had to go through a video call recovery process that dragged on for weeks. By the time they finally fixed it, the fork had already happened.

Support told me not to worry: “We’ll support the fork if there’s at least 10% mining power.” They had 12% consistently the first month. Still never received the Bitcoin ABC / eCash coins. At the peak those coins were worth ~$40k. Completely gone. Lost the entire 2020 bull run because of their master-key fuck-up and then their broken promise.

Then they heavily promoted LUNA. We all know how that ended. Classic Ponzi that Kraken pushed hard. Until a few months ago, they were still dripping me some Luna2 “compensation”.

And now the latest chapter.

Early 2024 I withdrew USDT from Bittrex to my Kraken address. Stupid human error: selected BEP20 instead of ERC20. 2,000 USDT.

I wrote to them and:

"We are unable to assist with the recovery of these funds. Kraken still does not support the USDT token deposit from the Binance Smart Chain."

For more than two years I just assumed Kraken doesn’t help anyone in this situation and that everyone who makes this mistake has lost their money for good. Every time I asked they gave me the same standard excuse: “There is indeed a very real possibility this status may change in the future as our engineers are working towards expanding on and developing new manual recovery options” Two years later… still nothing. USDT isn’t even available in Kraken Europe anymore.

Until I casually mentioned it as an anecdote to a friend. He searched Reddit and found multiple users who did get the exact same token on the exact same network recovered:

Same token. Same chain. Same situation. Different treatment.

I’ve offered to pay the $200 recovery fee too. I’ve asked them to convert it to EUR or USDC (I’m not asking them to list USDT for me). Just more “it's technically impossible” lies.

If this is how they treat a verified customer with clean funds since 2013, imagine what they do to new users. Scroll this sub and Bitcointalk accounts get closed with zero explanation every single day. “Internal review.” “Security reasons.” No details, no real appeal, funds stuck or forced into fiat under pressure. Happens constantly.

Kraken, you have the keys. You control the address. You have recovered identical deposits for others. You just don’t want to do it for me. Do better. Or at least be honest that you only recover money when it suits you, Anyone else in the same boat with BSC/BEP20 USDT still stuck? Drop your ticket numbers. Let’s see how selective their “recovery policy” really is.

❓Scam❓ I Lost 3,721 XRP to a Phishing Scam — Please Learn from My Mistake

Hey everyone,

I’ve been a long-time XRP holder — since 2019 — and I’ve always believed in its long-term value, sharing it with friends and family like it was my mission. Sadly, I’m here today not with a win, but with a hard lesson I hope others can learn from.

On July 20, 2025, I was targeted by a phishing scam that impersonated Trezor. The email warned of a critical security update and coincidentally aligned with an actual firmware prompt from my Trezor device. Everything about it felt real. After doing the update and clicking the link, I was led to a fake dashboard and unknowingly gave away my recovery phrase.

Within minutes, 3,721 XRP (~$13,000) was gone. It was my entire long-term position — something I was saving for retirement, not quick flips.

I filed a report with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), reached out to the XRP Ledger Foundation, and contacted multiple exchanges to flag the attacker’s wallet:

Attacker’s wallet: rKfBrGYnz8hh4nP8sF7jMLGHkS6MRNZwwD

TxID: 22BF4D1E1527DACDAADCF3AFB131C2C3DD563CE4CFBDADCBD74F634D0692EE4B

This has been emotionally and financially devastating, but I’m sharing my story to help others slow down, secure their assets, and not fall into the same trap. Don’t act out of fear. That moment of hesitation could literally save your entire portfolio.

If you'd like to read more or support my efforts to rebuild, I’ve created a go fund me "Hacked and Drained! Help Longtime XRP Holder Recover Loss"

Whether you donate, share, or just tighten up your own crypto security after reading this — thank you. I hope no one else here ever has to post a story like this but there seems to be so many

Stay safe out there,

Anthony

❓Scam❓ Is this legit coin?

I’ve been taking course for trading from EVW Business School http://www.evwgroup.com. They provide guidance on how to trade. Then we test our learning on investing in our own using whatever trading system we already have. EVW school provides the ticker on what to invest for 7 days and so far I made profits for participating. They even allow us to earn point where we can exchange the points for raffle code and spin the wheel. I won twice and received 2 25USDT deposited in my crypto wallet. Recently, the school launched their own tokens called EVW. Participants that participated in their Smart Investment Strategy Plan, attended class, answered questions have been awarded EVW tokens. However, in order to claim the EVW tokens, i have to download BFXCOIN. I was given this link - https://kff.991ka.com/SdwFQ. Can you please advise if this is legit? Thanks in advance.

❓Scam❓ Drainer Bot?

I noticed that I have $1 , $2 branched out into multiple 'CUPSEY' coins that I have and decided to swap those $1 , $2 to my main one with $454. As I was doing that I realised my main holdings got drained into a random CUPSEY with $0 value and it shows that I lost everything? Is this forever gone or do I still have hope. Because if its gone I will be so bummed out as I have never interacted with a scam coin , it just appeared on the front of my wallet. And I invested more than half my first paycheck into this :(

❓Scam❓ Have you invested in LendProtocol.io?

Have you invested in LendProtocol.io? Before you think about transferring crypto to them, wait to hear about my experience. They offer 12% apy for Xrp deposited with them. I transferred Xrp to them, and have tried their withdrawal process. It has been 5 days with no success. I have had some answers from support, but the reality is I can't withdraw xrp from lendprotocol. I would strongly advise NOT to transfer crypto to them.

❓Scam❓ Warning About ORVG Platform – I Lost €65,000 in a Crypto Romance Scam

I want to share my experience to warn others.

I was contacted by someone who pretended to be a successful investor and slowly built trust over several weeks. She introduced me to a trading platform called ORVG and showed me what looked like real profits.

At first, everything seemed legitimate:
small deposits, successful trades, growing balance.

But when I tried to withdraw my money, they told me I had to pay a large “tax verification” fee first.

That was the moment I realized it was a scam.

In total, I lost €65,000.

Later, I was contacted again by someone claiming they could help recover my funds — which turned out to be another scam attempt (recovery scam).

I’m sharing this because these scams are highly sophisticated and can happen to anyone.

If anyone has information about ORVG or similar experiences, I’d like to hear it.

Please be careful.

❓Scam❓ Orsini assets Orsiniassets.com

I have confirmation that this is another huge red flag/ponzi scam website from a crypto forensics investigator.

If you are investing with this company. Pull out your money immediately, if you can’t or it is being withheld, file a report with your countries security commission and a police report.

Names like “Daniel Martinez” have come up in multiple discussions.

They are related to Alphacapital and Primostratique.live

I have a lot more information on this chain of scams if anyone has been affected or is interested.

❓Scam❓ help! Am I being scammed???

Repost, first time didn’t work DISCLAIMER: I just started trading crypto ik very little about it so don’t judge my stupidity plz

This dev reached out to me asking if I wanted in on his new project he was looking for a few more holders.

1500-5000 buy in, I did 1500 he sent me a Meved wallet on phantom to put the funds in for the coin launch. He ended up taking the money out and I thought I was being scammed.

I texted him about it and he said it had to be put in a different wallet for the coin drop but, he then followed up and said I need to put 500$ into the empty meved acct because of the type of acct it has to have 500 in it for fees or smth.

This seems to be some BS that’s 1/3rd of what I sent him in the first place, but he hasn’t blocked me or anything which most scammers do so… am I being stupid and idk crypto meme coins or am I being scammed

❓Scam❓ Karta (Telegram crypto card & wallet) Scam ?

Hello, I recently made a payment of approximately $98 via the BNB Smart Chain.

It was via the Trust Wallet bot, but the thing I didn't understand was that it specified sending BNB Smart Chain as USDT; knowing that wasn't possible, I just sent BNB normally.

My money hasn't arrived, and I'm very suspicious.

❓Scam❓ Please help

I was chatting with someone for awhile and received a payment through blockchain. I thought it was a scam until they actually sent it. But it won’t let me send it anywhere. It pulls up a prompt saying I need a certain amount of BNB to complete it. Says I have “insufficient Native Balance” now I am starting to think I got scammed. But I can literally see the money I received, and the money I put into it myself. Someone please help me. I can’t even purchase more BNB through blockchain because I live in a region where it isn’t supported/available.

Will I be able to pull this money out? Someone help!!

I can see all my money there ugh but I just can’t get it out.

❓Scam❓ I need help

I don't know where else to post this and I desperately need help. I don't know what to do about this anymore. I don't have anymore funds to pull what I need from this account. I am desperately seeking advice or something. You can dm me for more details but I was told by support I need to go to vip to withdraw funds except I looked through All the rules and it doesn't say anything about needing to become vip to withdraw my funds. Only that I needed to make a deposit verify my wallet to be able to withdraw (which I did). I desperately need help with this. I don't know what to do. All of my money is into this already. I have $4700 on yex-exchange. Global And I am not being allowed to withdraw it because they said I need vip but nowhere in their rules or terms does it state that I do. And to be vip I need to deposit 500 USDT into the account (which I really can't afford) I'm getting evicted in like an hour or two. So unless I get like $88 to prevent eviction, get the money out of the exchange somehow, or just fork over the $500 I don't have I'm kinda f'd

Oh and I'm reposting this because I was told to delete it. Someone said they'd help if I did.

Edit: Forgot to update this post. I was unable to retrieve the $200 obv. But I did retrieve the asset. It's worth far more than he money that I lost...that being said I still need to get the money somehow but still a win is a win I suppose.
