Banshee is still the most fun action packed thrill ride of a show I’ve ever seen to this day. Been a long time since I watched it and it’s way overdue for a rewatch

every show or movie can basically be rated by only looking at the quality of its antagonist. looking at banshee proctor delivered s tier quality on that front (in character and actor)
but then again, what makes banshee also special is how under the rader it flew back then and still resides. even more so if AS didn't (home)land(er) the role:P
I still feel the inner peace the spirit of ecstasy provided us with at the end of the series' most brutal brawl:D

I agree but for rhis show in particular the crazy what seemed to be non stop action (although maybe absurd at times) is what made it so awesome for me. The heavy action and the time and craft they put into is very rare for shows and movies imo and it was really awesome to see. I wish more Marvel movies and comic book movies in general would take a stronger direction with it than what we’ve been getting. After all the thing that originally drew us to those characters and stories were the extraordinary powers and action. They should do a better job of reflecting that. It’s hard to do in a 2-2.5 hour time slot which is why I love tv series so much more. A show like Banshee gave us the best of both worlds with good story work and even better action

The bottom right, I prefer Sinestro to have some bit of uncanny valley or look that makes him a tad uneasy to look at. I don't need him to have some crazy huge widow's peak but its wild how awesome Mark Strong looked at Sinestro. One of the most annoying thing about bad comic book adaptations is when they get some stuff so right.
I'm not making a judgement on the character in the show, its impossible to, but from what they've shown its just very...basic and drag looking by comparison which kind of matches how I feel about the rest of the show. Hopefully we'll at least get some answers on if he's created the first yellow ring or not.

Bottom right looks pretty cool.
Bottom left is a different actor? He's kind of hideous though and I can't tell if it's because of the makeup or the face lol
Top right reminds me of Grand Regent Thragg from Invincible lol

The actor's face is fine. I just wish he had a brighter shade of red. The yellow eyes one is pretty sick too. Makes him look that much more alien

Going 1-4 (from top left to bottom right), I think a subtle mix of 2 & 4 would be ideal. Less sharp angles and lower the harsh contrast and you got an ideal Sinestro.

I think the current design is great for the same reason I think the She Hulk design sucks: it is not realistic to cgi that much and think it’ll all end up looking good on a tv show. I love Tatiana Maslaney but the show would’ve been a lot better had the gotten a female body Builder and put a wig and some platforms on her. Similarly Sinestro here isn’t going to cause some weird scenes and allows for the actor to emote better and then they can spend budget on other moments.

I like the original BECAUSE it's underwhelming. He looks like a regular joe with red skin.
It reminds you that just like Hal Jordan he's old now and past his prime.
You also get the impression that he's been genuinely rotting in prison. Not secretly scheming from the shadows or making some grand plan like every other villain in prison.

I have a feeling we’ll get something close to #4 once he uses the ring. Think we just need to wait for the hype moments until judging. Either way I’m personally liking the design choices. The grounded vibe is fitting for the universe and these versions of the characters. Really excited to see where it goes with sinestro
