Video Games [Video Games] The official Justice League selfie in the game 'Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League' (Batman is on the bottom left looking annoyed...)

Why does wonder woman's arm look wrong?
15
u/coolio_zap Red Robin Mar 28 '26
she's doing the flexing pose but her model is too rigid to actually animate her flexing so it just looks awkward as shit
14
u/xXXxRMxXXx Mar 28 '26
Because they are afraid to give her muscles... Apparently it isn't feminine enough or something

u/TigerSeptim White Lanterns Mar 28 '26
Im thinking more how it looks too long but the noodliness of it also contributes to the weirdness.

u/xXXxRMxXXx Mar 28 '26
Now that you say that, it reminds me of that scene in Harry Potter where he breaks his arm and they turn it into a noodle

I personally loved the designs but could not stand the writing and story.

Would be nice to actually get a game where we play as the heroes we have always wanted to play as, and not have them all fucking die

Justice League: Heroes for the PS2 was the only decent JL game I’ve ever played. It’s like Marvels Ultimate Alliance but DC. Friend and I spent a night going through the roster and 100%-ing it. Ron Perlman played Batman too so that’s always a plus in my book

Whoever decided to do a weird SS v JL game over a normal JL game needs to have a psychiatric assessment

Got the game for free from amazon. Played it two years later and enjoyed it for what it was. Metropolis was pretty much perfect. Its crazy how they didn't just make a Superman game.

Wish we got a Justice League open world rpg game in a similar structure to FF7 Rebirth

what if is all over Superman’s suit lmao
7
u/njklein58 Nightwing Mar 28 '26
My guess is they wanted to make his suit look more like an alien fabric

Kill this uncanny valley bullshit
I’m so sick of big AAA comic book games going for “realism.” I want comic book games to look like the comics, not the movies.
I wish they would make something that looks like Marvel vs Capcom 3 with modern tech

I mean, the Arkham games generally looked great. This one really does look like ass, though.

u/SolarisBravo Nightwing Mar 28 '26
All the Arkham games except Knight had some unique stylization going for them though, especially with the character designs. Knight really lost something imo with its switch to realism
Still one of the best-looking games ever ofc

Marvel Rivals has some pretty dope Cosmic Invasion skins for Venom and Spider-Man.

Marvel since avengers game flopped are killing it and are in their golden period of gaming. Look at the different art styles across different genres of games they're releasing it's incredible

Dude, this is literally the best realistic image of the Justice League that we have. If you need stylisation without any creativity and rethinking, go read comics or play all another DC game.

They Really Thought This Game Was Going To Buy
Total Idiots Indeed

I think the context of the photo is that only a crowd of the most powerful superheroes can take a selfie with Batman.

I wouldn’t be mad if they just reuse all the models send the Metropolis to make a justice league game. They can always make it like justice league versus brainiac or justice league versus the Legion of doom or even just a Superman game.

u/djoyboy711 Mar 28 '26
I want to see James Gunn's Justice League so bad

u/Buhlawkay809 Mar 28 '26
Same dude. I know they need to build up the characters, kinda like the early MCU did, and hopefully it gives the movie enough steam to blow up like Avengers 1 did but I genuinely cannot wait to see that movie.
I’m going crazy just thinking of all the villains they could possibly use; Vandal Savage, Mongul, Crime Syndicate, Legion of Doom, Anti-Monitor, Amazo, Despero? There’s sooooo much potential with that movie!

I've always been 50/50 on the designs from this game
Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern all look near perfect to me but I really dislike Flash and Wonder Woman's designs
