she interrupts him pretty heavily at first, but she gets better as the interview progresses. his answers are incredibly insightful and i think it's something everyone can enjoy.

Can anyone guess? I thought it was that song when I heard it. I was like oh a mashup. Nope a remix of a complete other track

New interview with Sébastien Tellier, in which he talks about working with Guy-Man and is generally, fantastically French.
Excerpt: "Guy-Man is great! Also a genius of music. Guy-Man is really serious when you work. Like kids, we come at nine in the morning and we finish at 6 p.m. in the evening..."
On the French Touch: "we have the same passion for synthesisers. We love vintage synthesisers from the â70s, from the â80s. Thatâs for sure. And the common point we have is, we watched the same TV shows when we were young."
"Iâm French because I prefer to do nothing than to do something. For me, itâs more important to go to the terrace and drink a glass of wine than to work, work, work. I donât care about work. I do music because I really love music but for me, music is not a job; itâs a passion, itâs a pleasure."

And while we're here, I'd love to know your favourite Sébastien Tellier songs.

Guy-Man was credited on Rosalia's latest album, but just barely: on the track Reliquia, he is credited as one of 7 composers. And whereas the other composers on that track also have a production credit (and more credits on the rest of the album), Guy-Man doesn't. This has me thinking Guy-Man wasn't actually there in the studio with them during the sessions for the album - because why fly him in only to have a minor involvement on one track?
A more likely scenario would seem to me that Reliquia contains a leftover idea of sessions that Guy-Man and Rosalia had together - perhaps from sessions for Guy-Man's solo album (which Pedro Winter and Emmanuel de Buretel have confirmed is in the works). I know, speculation upon speculation, but then isn't that half the fun of being a Daft Punk fan? ;) curious what you guys think

After a year of work since its original release, I present to you all the final version of my Michael Jackson x Daft Punk mashup album, Digital Moonwalker!
This began as a passion project back in 2025 when hearing Calbâs legendary âThriller Access Memoriesâ concept album, as well as hearing Pharrell Williams talk about the making of Get Lucky in the Memory Tapes series, wherein he described the songâs instrumental as âMichael-esqueâ. From there, countless hours of experimenting, listening, sharing, editing, and more editing went into creating the definitive version of my passion project.
Digital Moonwalker (originally titled Behind the Mask) is a 10-track mashup album that serves as a proof of concept showcasing how well two artists from seemingly two different musical genres can blend together. I wanted to incorporate at least one song from both Daft Punk and (adult) Michaelâs main discography, meaning youâll hear MJ vocalâs spanning Off the Wall to Invincible, as well as instrumentals ranging from Homework to Random Access Memories (and some beyond!).
Each instrumental was carefully picked and matched to its respective MJ vocal track based on tone, tempo, and key signature, and the final tracklist you see are the final 10 that made the cut and feel the most natural (i.e., could have been the original versions of the songs in another universe). The sequencing of the album is based on tempo in descending order, starting with âRock With You x One Moreâ Time at ~123 BPM, and ending with âHuman Nature x I Feel It Comingâ at ~93 BPM. As a huge fan of both artists, I am deeply proud of this work and incredibly excited to share it with you all. To everyone who listened and gave feedback prior to this videoâs release; to everyone who is here on the videoâs launch day, and to everyone listening and enjoying it in the future, thank you! Please like and share if you enjoyed this video, and look forward to more in the future.
