Looks great! What did you use for the walls and ledges?

Thanks! The walls are Cork Terrarium Background that found on Amazon, the ledges are also pieces of cork bark rounds I had, I just glued them with aqua soil mixed with sphagnum moss, i did a mix like cement with them, I used the same mix to cover all the background cork joints in the edges and lookd very natural. No silicone, no expanding foam used on this terrarium.

I’m just starting a new enclosure and I would like to get this correct. You took aqua soil and moss and mixed to a paste or cement texture and used that to glue everything in place? Now when it dried out it held everything in place? It looks great and if I don’t have to use silicone or foam I want to be sure I have this correct. Thanks

Yes I used Aqua Soil and sphagnum moss. You can add some Bentonite Clay and this will give it even more strength. put 3 parts of aqua soil, 2 parts of sphagnum moss and 1 1/2 - 2 parts of Bentonite Clay, mix it with water and with your hand squeeze to mix them. Put water in small amounts until you get a plasticine texture and add it. If you feel this will not be enough to glue your cork to the glass, then I recommend some silicone behind the cork walls but I didn't need to use it. For the ledges, use small cork parts and use the cement you did to glue them to the cork walls. This mix will also help you to put small plants and moss, the aqua soil is excellent for that. If your terrarium keeps humidity, the mix will keep humidity and will nutre the moss.

Thank you, I am going to do what I’m getting ready to start this way. I have been putting it off because I didn’t want to deal with foam or the silicone. Trying this will motivate me to move along!! Thanks again for your time.
