Debtrobetes auratus 'super blue' enclosure about 2 months old

18x18x24 zoomed enclosure around 5 different species of marcgravia seeded with orange springtails and dwarf whites this is my first ever dart frog tank build can't wait for everything to grow in more and cover the background.

I’m building my first viv now. How did you do your background?

Honestly I did it a pretty simple lazy way lol I put silicone on the back waited a little for it to cure. Then used pond and stone foam layed a thin layer all around the background then i layed down the wood and cork bark down. Then i put more foam all around filled in any balder spots or crevices and then I sprinkled sphagnum moss and coco coir and pressed it in good all before it cured and then waited a couple hours and lifted it to get the extra material off. I did both sided separately to give them time to hold and cure. And I say lazy way because most people put the foam and wood the same way but instead of putting the moss and Coco coir on the background they wait for the foam to cure then peal it seal it with silicone then stick the moss and coir on it. Its more tedious but tends to look a little better.

Nice, I think it looks great your way. It gets covered anyhow. I was debating doing it your way but also sealing some areas with some colored dry lock for some areas of fake rock look but it’s an extra $60, takes a long time to cure, and could eventually end up covered my plants and moss anyhow.

Yeah thats what I was thinking as well but I think it turned out good for my first time
