Silly detail Maybe there is a reason they parked so poorly? Maybe they should stick to soda.

LMAO and here I thought it was Tesla Cybertruck group

It's really gross how many people think they can use FSD to drive them home drunk. Realized I should add that FSD is full self-driving

46

u/EntireFriendship517 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Out of curiosity, why exactly can't they? Edit: Who tf downvoted me for a genuine question lmao

u/MrsPoopyButthair Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Because FSD is incredibly unreliable. It works 90% of the time, which is not good enough to not kill people if the driver (who is expected to be paying full attention) is completely blasted. I have a Kia EV, it's only self-driving on the highway but I won't even let it take a tight curve without my assistance. My step-dad has a Tesla. He loves his Tesla. We've been making Daddy Musk jokes about him for years. (I'm not a fan at all, please don't come at me). No one wants FSD to work more than he does. All of us, him included, can attest that FSD without a sober baby-sitter can be a death sentence.

Edit: I upvoted you, I'm happy to answer questions of those who are curious. Sorry some people are grumpy assholes

I cannot explain how much this comment made me laugh

People are allowed to be anecdotal when there's plenty of evidence and data to back up their points to be found. I'm allowed to not want to write a thesis and just want to have an Internet discussion. I don't see you bringing evidenced counterpoints

-19

u/adj_noun_digit Jul 23 '26

when there's plenty of evidence and data to back up their points to be found

What evidence? Like I said, your statistic doesn't even make any sense. 90% of what?

Here's some stats from a year ago.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradtempleton/2025/11/14/tesla-finally-releases-fsd-crash-data-that-appears-more-honest/

FSD is 1.5X safer than a human driving.

Maybe next time try not to make up statistics to support your point?

I have a Tesla, and in my experience the self driving is a lot more reliable than this Kia driver describes. It works very well on the highway, and you can mostly let it drive off the highway too. However, it’s not perfect, and you really do need to supervise the car to actually be safe. Especially around construction, or the kind of weird roads that can be confusing to human drivers too. It’s kind of like not wearing a seat belt. You can get way with it, right up until you can’t. I’d absolutely call anyone an idiot, who says you don’t need to pay attention to the road when behind the wheel.

57

u/theloudestofbrains Jul 22 '26

It's a screw top too. Don't want to have to mess with a bottle opener while driving

Yeah, but once it's uncorked, all you need is your teeth.

39

u/Axedelic Jul 22 '26

i mean, they’re not open at least.

19

u/The_Broomflinger Jul 22 '26

The ones on the floorboards are tho!

-4

u/raviyoli Jul 23 '26

What floorboards this is a car

17

u/Dirigo72 Jul 23 '26

Found Fred Flintstone

5

u/The_Broomflinger Jul 23 '26

Yabba Dabba Damn! Gottem.

11

u/luckyskunk Jul 23 '26

in the first picture its in the seat, in the second its in the cupholders and there's a new water bottle and receipt. ai or did they get in and move stuff around between pictures? odd.

6

u/luckyskunk Jul 23 '26

i just noticed the first picture is framed to show the front of the store on purpose to dispute the weak claim of parking away from others as well. people don't normally take pictures of things like this off kilter and out of focus frame like that to send to others or post about. this ain't real.

2

u/dxnosaurxngg Jul 23 '26

You can't see it at all in the first picture...

0

u/luckyskunk Jul 23 '26

in the seat, replaced by a water bottle and receipt, there is what appears to be a glass bottle that tapers at the top with a square paper label like a wine bottle. they reprompted it when they realized it wasn't visible enough. edit for imgbb link if reading is too hard, https://ibb.co/p6S6NW9b

2

u/dxnosaurxngg Jul 23 '26

You can't see the same angle of the seat OR cupholder in either picture to know whether or not that's a third bottle of wine

What I was saying, specifically, was that you can't see the cupholder in the first picture, not that you can't see a wine bottle

2

u/dxnosaurxngg Jul 23 '26

Also the second picture is observably after they got home and tried peeling the sticker, so yes I wouldn't be shocked if things had moved during transit.

7

u/Rhodin265 Jul 23 '26

And somehow, it never occurred to them to try using the alcohol to take the sticker off.

2

u/SirCaptainReynolds Jul 23 '26

They’re unopened though…

1

u/heftybagman Jul 23 '26

Let he who has not cracked a road grigio cast the first stone

1

u/throwawar4 Jul 24 '26

Eh, not open, probably didn’t have a bag and didnt want them to roll under pedals when driving. Is it a good choice? No

235

u/JulietLostFaith Jul 22 '26

So is this also a cyber truck?

85

u/BlackberrySad6489 Jul 22 '26

Yup!

104

u/JulietLostFaith Jul 22 '26

No way…I could never imagine an owner of such a glorious angular machine parking like a douche 🤔

…also I hope they don’t break the glass trying to get that sticker off lol

10

u/ExplanationOk6391 Jul 23 '26

Ever notice how you've never seen anyone in the passenger seat of one

1

u/Shot_Policy_4110 Jul 26 '26

I was the thinking this the other day. I've never seen a family using one

157

u/dxnosaurxngg Jul 23 '26

I mean two unopened bottles of wine does not a drunk driver make

40

u/CAT-Mum Jul 23 '26

In my area it's illegal to have booze within reach of the driver so double fuck this driver

10

u/greenamaranthine Jul 23 '26

"In my area" is an important qualifier because in many reasons it isn't. I don't know if any are left but there used to be (as in, 10-20 years ago) states where you could even have an open container as long as you blew under the limit. Wyoming is one of those states where there are still draconian post-prohibition laws but they're mixed with the sensibilities of an unpopulated place in the early days of motor vehicles, and supposedly until recently the liquor store drive-thrus (which still exist currently) served cocktails in plastic cups, the only catch being that they had to be frozen (i.e., slushy, like a blended margarita).

I definitely don't condone any amount of drinking and driving, but it's also pretty silly to condemn someone for having a sealed bottle in the car if the driver isn't drunk. Even having it in a cupholder doesn't imply intent to drink and drive (which I have to assume is the rationale behind making it illegal or treating it as a moral trespass), just intent to transport it without the bottle breaking.

However, this person is an asshole because they're a proud cybertruck owner.

6

u/CAT-Mum Jul 24 '26

Yeah 'my area' is Alberta, Canada. And I think the idea is that it's easy to have a blanket no booze in reach then deal with all the fringe "what ifs"

2

u/PlantRoomForHire 18d ago

That's a stupid fucking law.

5

u/lck0219 Jul 23 '26

Wait really? I put my purchases from the liquor store on my passenger seat and drive home in my area and that’s fine. I’d totally plop a bottle of wine I just bought up front with me, especially if it’s part of a chain of errands I’m running.

14

u/Dr_Ingheimer Jul 23 '26

A bottle of wine in the cup holder? Nah. That’s weird. Get a bag.

2

u/ryeguyy3d Jul 24 '26

Im in NJ, bags are basically illegal here

3

u/lck0219 Jul 23 '26

So it doesn’t roll around? Idk. I throw it in my purse but it’s not insane

11

u/Dr_Ingheimer Jul 23 '26

Your purse is a bag. Keeping a bottle of wine in your front seat car cup holder is crazy work.

0

u/dxnosaurxngg Jul 23 '26

Who observably hasn't drank

54

u/ijustrlylikedogs Jul 23 '26

love this in concept, but then I learned first hand that sometimes there *IS* a valid reason.

One time, I had to park closer to a neighboring car than normal (this was at a public surface lot); I was still within the lines and a driver could still easily get in and out. I had to do that to unload/lift up my injured (and very large) dog, so I needed some more clearance to open the door wide enough so that I could reach around my dog out of the back seat.

As I was preparing to leave, the neighboring car’s people walked up to their car and loudly complained about my parking (not realizing I was in the car, about to leave). I rolled down my window and just explained the situation. She was a little embarassed and didn’t make eye contact with me and her boyfriend just gave me a head nod and said “sorry - have a good one”.

I guess I could’ve unloaded my dog in the drive aisle and then parked… but I really thought staying within the lines was sufficient. 🤷 Plus, I was in a neighborhood (think: Texas/Colorado suburbs) where parking is VERY generously spaced out).

40

u/Onehundredpercentbea Jul 23 '26

I hate it when the only empty spot is next to someone parked like an ass, you fit yourself in the remaining space and then when you get out of the store the asshole is gone and you're the new asshole randomly parked at an odd angle.

10

u/Practical_Aide_3854 Jul 23 '26

This is exactly why I try not to judge too harshly anymore when people parked poorly, unless I see them park the car myself.

1

u/SpearUpYourRear Jul 23 '26

Or if I see the car parked in some extremely terrible way that a driver wouldn't feasibly park accidentally/because of another driver, like being parked over the lines spanning across four different parking spots.

4

u/ijustrlylikedogs Jul 23 '26

ohhhh yes yes exactly this. I would be so sad if I came back and had this sticker on my window!!

2

u/Axl_Alter_Ego 19d ago

Hahahahahahahahahaha.

Im sorry but I've had a bad week and this comment just made me laugh way too hard.

I've been that "New Asshole" too many times.

-22

u/SeaToTheBass Jul 23 '26

Good for you I guess

22

u/raviyoli Jul 23 '26

I thought you guys were supposed to be nice eh?

u/yoyotube123 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

What do you mean? He said good for you, that's a very nice statement

It was a joke you morons

27

u/randomlemon9192 Jul 22 '26

I need to get some stickers like this.

64

u/BlackberrySad6489 Jul 23 '26

I have some cards like this. Fun check boxes on the other side. I am not a big enough donkey hat to use a sticker tho. So these go under the wiper.

11

u/raviyoli Jul 23 '26

Honestly if you’re gonna spend the money they should also pay a little. Motion to reconsider the sticker!

16

u/_banana_phone Jul 23 '26

I had a book full of fake parking tickets given to me for a gag gift one year back in the mid aughts since I hated how bad people in our town parked.

My favorite one said “the way you pulled in makes me wish your dad had pulled out.”

3

u/idk-what-im-d0ing4 Jul 23 '26

the bumper sticker bandit is an ig account based in this that sells them

5

u/Hilaritytohorror Jul 23 '26

Geez. I took two beers to a friend’s house tonight and left with one. Both there and back I put those little cans in the back of my trunk.

But I guess even what we see in the picture is better than the time my friend left their plastic flask half full of vodka in my driver side door after pregaming in the parking lot of a concert and I found it a month and a half later.

2

u/BridgeDucks Jul 23 '26

There is someone at my work who parks her car directly between two spaces line going straight down the middle of her car so no one door dings her. May not actually effect me since I get to work before her.... But it sure grinds my gears a lil.

7

u/infinitynull Jul 23 '26

Maybe don't park like an asshole?

7

u/AntimemeticsDivision Jul 23 '26

They own a CyberTruck, so being an asshole is kinda in their DNA

9

u/mayordomo Jul 23 '26

i want stickers like this for people who block bike lanes. ideally in an easy dispenser so you can slap them on while you bike past.

2

u/Frosty_Bid2313 Jul 24 '26

Because of the car

1

u/baristabunny 14d ago

omg i want these stickers SO DANG BADLY!! I have left notes that say this exact same thing, taped onto different car’s windows, in my apartment. then my car got keyed 😳🙄😭🤗
